France’s mainstream conservative party is seeking an alliance with Marine Le Pen in an unprecedented embrace of the hard-Right.

Eric Ciotti, leader of the Republicans has now signalled his willingness to enter a govt with Le Pen - insisting their parties “say the same things” and that any opposition between them was “imagined.”

National Rally is looking for allies in case it fails to reach an absolute majority, which would mean it could name the prime minister and make Macron a lame duck – despite the president insisting he will not resign.

Israel has been responsible for “war crimes of starvation as a method of warfare, murder or wilful killing, intentionally directing attacks against civilians and civilian objects, forcible transfer, sexual violence, torture and inhuman or cruel treatment, arbitrary detention and outrages upon personal dignity,” the independent inquiry concluded.

The commission found that "the crimes against humanity of extermination, gender persecution targeting Palestinian men and boys, murder, forcible transfer, and torture and inhuman and cruel treatment" were also committed.

💸US to Send Another $1.1BN Patriot Defense System to Ukraine

The critical systems are considered incredibly rare, Pentagon officials refuse to disclose how many are in its arsenal, but one senior military person said that the Army has deployed only 14 of them, in the US and around the world.  

It is by far the most expensive single weapon supplied by the US to Kiev, $400mn for the system and $690mn for the missiles.

The new Patriot system would be at least the second that the US has sent to Ukraine.
