Electricity blackouts have been reported in several European countries, including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro.
In Albania, blackouts have been reported in Tirana, Durrësi, Lezha, Shkodra, Kukësi, Saranda and Elbasani – lights at the country’s constitutional court have also gone off.
Southern Croatia suffered a massive power outage at around 12.30pm local time, with the entirety of Dubrovnik and Konavle blacked out - the country’s national power grid, HEP, said the outage was down to ‘an international disturbance that affected several countries.’

Saudis move off the petrodollar last week & suddenly 23 years later regime media finally decides to blame them for 9/11
EXCLUSIVE: A video obtained by @60minutes shows a man the FBI says had ties to Saudi intelligence referencing a "plan" two years before the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks – raising questions about Saudi assistance to the hijackers and planners. While the 9/11 Commission report two decades ago found that al-Qaeda acted alone, the victims' families are disputing this, citing the video from outside the U.S. Capitol and other evidence in a lawsuit.

Kiev has been forced to dispatch reinforcements to strengthen the defence of the Chasiv Yar sector, the eastern Donetsk region that has become a strategic flashpoint.
Units of the 24th Mechanized Brigade are being redeployed from the town of Toretsk, another frontline region where Russian forces have gained ground after a lull in fighting, according to military bloggers.
If it were to be captured, it could accelerate Russian advances deeper in the industrial territory.

The Red Army almost lost the strategical city – now called Volgograd - the Nazis even captured parts of it, before the Soviets were able to successfully counterattack.
The city's control would have given Nazi Germany access to the oil fields of the Caucasus and significant authority over the Volga River.
Germany wasn’t alone, assisted by Italy, Romania and Hungary.
Each flag represents 10k troops. In total, both sides suffered over 1mn casualties.

Why is the US fuming over China-Georgia Black Sea port project?
Washington's Ambassador to Georgia Robin Dunnigan has "crossed red lines" by criticizing Tbilisi for having awarded a contract to build a deep-water port in Georgia's Anaklia to a Chinese consortium, a group of Georgian MPs said, as quoted by Russian media.
🔶 Under the Anaklia port project, the state would own a 51 percent share of the port, while the remaining 49 percent would go to private investors. Georgia also considers establishing a "free economic zone" near the port.
🔶 The capacity of the first stage of the port is due to reach 600,000 containers, creating thousands of new jobs.
🔶 The Anaklia port is meant to become part of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) linking China to the EU. In 2023, the TITR handled 2.8 million tons of cargo, an 86% increase compared to 2022.
🔶 The construction of the deep-water port of Anaklia makes sense only if cargo from China will pass through it, given the almost $800 billion EU-China trade turnover, according to Paata Kvizhinadze, chairman of the Georgian parliamentary finance and budget committee.
🔶 After the contract was awarded to China in May 2024, the US groundlessly accused the Chinese contractor of being involved in financing "the Russian military".
🔶 The Georgia-US "Anaklia Development Consortium" won the 2016 tender to build the Anaklia port, but the contract was terminated in 2020 over non-fulfillment of obligations. US lawmakers immediately accused then Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia of the project's "politicization" and urged the Trump administration to "investigate" the "ties" of then chair of the political party Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili, to Russia.
🔶 In 2024, Georgian Dream politicians were subjected to sanctions by Washington for adopting a "foreign agent" law which requires media and NGOs to inform the government about their foreign sponsors.
