The fatal fire broke out at a three-storey manufacturing facility of lithium battery maker Aricell in Hwaseong, just south of capital Seoul Monday.

Firefighters brought the major blaze under control after just over 4 hours before discovering the 20 dead bodies.

The deceased are believed to be among 23 people unaccounted for in the fire, authorities said - the majority foreign nationals.

💸Motorola sues UK Home Office over £14mn ‘unpaid’ bills

Motorola, which owns Britain’s police radio network, has accused the govt of underpaying it since March 2023, according to court documents seen by The Telegraph.

The claim relates to the Airwave network – Britain’s ageing push-to-talk radio infrastructure that provides the UK’s emergency services with critical communications. 

Airwave has been the subject of a long-running row between the Government and Motorola amid a much-delayed upgrade program - which aims to replace the police radio network with modern 4G tech.

Plans to switch off the old system have been repeatedly pushed back, costing the taxpayer billions of pounds.

Ukrainian militants say their "hands are tied" without the ability to use long-range guided missiles.

Associated Press writes:

Ukrainian officials are pushing U.S. allies to be able to strike particular high-value targets inside Russia using ATACMS, which can reach over 100 kilometers (62 miles).

However, Ukrainian officials say only "desperate conditions on the battlefield" will convince U.S. officials to lift the restrictions.

“This is not about geography. It’s about common sense. If Russia is attacking or about to attack from its territory into Ukraine, it only makes sense to allow Ukraine to hit back against the forces that are hitting it from across the border”

said spokesman Army Maj. Charlie Dietz.

❗️Yesterday, the Ukrainian armed forces attacked Sevastopol with five American ATACMS missiles. One of them exploded over a beach where civilians were vacationing. The victims were four people (2 children), more than 150 were wounded (27 children).
