The large-scale blaze resulted in highways, roads and, other factories being closed in the state of Victoria, officials said Wednesday.
The fire in the factory erupted in Derrimut area of Melbourne - where hazardous material and unknown toxins continue to burn, ABC News reported.
Some 180 firefighters and 66 vehicles were immediately deployed to control the fire, however one official said "it's still burning."

British police were hunting for a man believed to be armed with a crossbow on Wednesday - after three women were killed in a house near London.
Kyle Clifford, 26, is being sought over the suspected triple murder.
The three women, who were related, were found seriously injured in a house in Bushey, Hertfordshire, on Tuesday evening, police said. Ambulance crews tried to save them, but they were pronounced dead at the scene.

Muazzam Khalil Abayat, 37, from the West Bank city of Bethlehem, was detained by Israeli forces last October and held without charge under Tel Aviv’s notorious policy of administrative detention.
Abayat was brutally beaten during his arrest in late October 2023, the Palestinian Prisoner Society said in a statement.
At least 3,380 Palestinians, including women and children, are currently held without charge in Israeli prisons, according to Palestinian figures.

The disciplinary hearing for 21 students at Melbourne University, who previously received "general misconduct notices," for participating in a pro-Palestinian sit-in protest began Wednesday.
