❗️UK Must Be Ready for War in Three Years - Head of British Army

Britain's army must be ready in three years to fight a war against an "axis of upheaval" of Russia, China, Iran and North Korea, the force's new chief has warned.

While stressing that conflict was not inevitable, General Sir Roly Walker predicted that Putin would come out of the Ukraine war “very, very dangerous.”

Walker claimed that the Russian president would be “wanting retribution” against countries that supported Ukraine.

UK PM Sir Keir Starmer has pledged to lift defense spending to 2.5% of national income from just over 2% at present, but has yet to specify a timeframe.

North Korea will “deepen ties with Minsk on all fronts to open a new era of improved relationships,” DPRK FM Choe Son Hui said at a dinner welcoming the Belarusian delegation. (KCNA)

Ruzenkov was reported as saying Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un both hoped to nurture a closer relationship.

🩸 IDF Drills Simulate Battles in Lebanon

Reservists of the IDF’s Alon Brigade have carried out exercises simulating fighting in Lebanon this past week, which the Israeli military claims is part of the Northern Command’s efforts to increase "readiness." (TOI)

The drills included movement in complex terrain, advancing along a “mountainous route,” and using firepower in various scenarios, the IDF said.

It looks like Israel wants to expand the war in the Middle East – probably the real reason Netanyahu is in Washington.
