Hamas stated that Netanyahu is imposing new conditions designed to sabotage peace efforts, prolong the war, and further entrench the illegal occupation, after being briefed by mediators on the latest round of talks in Doha.

Hamas accused Netanyahu of rejecting a permanent ceasefire and refusing to withdraw from the Gaza Strip, while insisting on the continued occupation of strategic areas like the "Netzarim Corridor," the Rafah Crossing, and the Philadelphi Corridor.

The group placed full responsibility for the failure of mediation efforts and the ongoing violence squarely on Netanyahu and the Israeli government.

🔴 French Left Threatens to Impeach Macron

Senior members of France Unbowed (LFI) issued a “solemn warning” for Macron that their patience is running thin and they are ready to pull the trigger on impeachment proceedings if he fails to select their candidate for PM.

Article 68 of the constitution allows the French parliament to dismiss the president for “failure to fulfil his duties manifestly incompatible with the exercise of the mandate.”

Macron dismissed their candidate, Lucie Castets, last month - despite the New Popular Front coalition of Leftist parties winning most seats in the elections.

LFI has called Macron’s refusal to select Castets an “institutional coup against democracy.”

⛔️ Chinese and Filipino coast guard boats collide in South China Sea

Beijing and Manila have accused each other of dangerous provocation after a collision between two coast guard vessels near the disputed Shabina Shoal waters.

The ramming incident, which reportedly left a 13cm hole in the 🇵🇭 ship, is the latest flare-up in a months-long stand-off between the nations.

Beijing accused the Philippine vessel of ignoring repeated warnings before it “deliberately collided” with the Chinese ship in an “unprofessional and dangerous” manner.

🇩🇪 Shares of the German weapons manufacturer Rheinmetall are falling following reports of reduced German military aid to Ukraine.

According to Reuters, during morning trading in Europe, the company's shares dropped by 4.5%, reaching 536 euros. However, since the beginning of the year, they have risen by 89% due to new government contracts for supplying weapons to Ukraine and replenishing the Bundeswehr's reserves.

As previously reported by German media, Germany's military support for Ukraine is expected to be cut by almost half in 2025 and reduced to one-tenth of the current volume by 2027. Berlin is thus reducing budget expenditures.
