😢Sky News Finally Investigates Slaughter of Palestinian Family Fleeing Fighting in Gaza

A six-year-old was found dead, along with several of her relatives and two paramedics who tried to save her, after they came under fire from tanks back in January.

Israel denied its military was in the area, but a Sky News investigation found evidence – posted by the IDF itself before being deleted - that proved otherwise.

Audio recordings of calls between the child and emergency call operators show the six-year-old was the only one left alive in the car, hiding from Israeli forces among the bodies of her relatives.

Her heartbreaking pleas for someone to rescue her ended when the phone line was cut amid the sound of more gunfire.

Her name was Hind Rajab.

It is understood that the two leaders have not spoken in two weeks but are expected to discuss the potential attack later Wednesday.

On Sunday, US media reported that the White House may not automatically defend Israel from another Iranian attack due to growing mistrust between the two countries. 

The US was allegedly kept in the dark about several recent Israeli operations, including the detonation of pagers used by Hezbollah members and the assassination of Hassan Nasrallah. (Axios)

😒 European Commission Fights Vaccine Transparency Court Ruling - Politico

Ursula von der Leyen's Commission won’t accept claims that it was not transparent enough about its lucrative Covid-19 vaccine contracts – even as it defies requests to reveal her texts with Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla.

In a last attempt to defend its position over its alleged duplicity of the contracts, the Commission is challenging an EU court ruling in July.

The appeal will be heard in Europe's highest court, the Court of Justice, although a date has not yet been set.
