⚠️ Viktor Orban Praises Free Election in Georgia Despite Western Tears

Orban travelled to Tbilisi for a two-day visit to offer support to his counterpart Irakli Kobakhidze – leader of the Georgian Dream ruling party.

Georgian Dream won 53.9%, compared with the 37.7% for the pro-Western opposition coalition, with almost all votes counted. The result has not yet been recognised by the EU or US.

Salome Zurabishvil, a mostly ceremonial president, told citizens to take to the streets – claiming the election had been “stolen” and accused Georgian Dream of working hand-in-hand with Russia.

However, Polish President Andrzej Duda revealed to Radio Zet that he’d been told by Zurabishvili that she had found no evidence of Moscow interfering in the elections.

⚠️ Fitness App ‘Gives Away Location of Trump and Other World Leaders’ – Le Monde

The highly confidential movements of world leaders can be easily tracked online through a fitness app that their bodyguards use, according to an investigation by French newspaper Le Monde.

Le Monde found that some US Secret Service agents use the Strava fitness app, including in recent weeks after two assassination attempts against Trump.

Strava is a fitness tracking app primarily used by runners and cyclists to record their activities and share their workouts with a community.

The newspaper’s journalists say they identified 26 US agents, 12 members of the French GSPR and six members of the Russian FSO, all of them in charge of presidential security, who had public accounts on Strava and were therefore communicating their movements online, including during professional trips.

❌UK stabbing suspect charged with terror offences for possessing Al-Qaeda material and making ricin

The teenager accused of murdering three young girls in Southport, England has been charged with possessing a military study of an Al-Qaeda training manual and the manufacture of ricin poison.

Police found the material during a search of Axel Rudakubana’s home after he was charged with carrying out a knife attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in July.

Merseyside Police said the events of July 29 have not been officially declared a terrorist incident because no motive has been established - despite the teenager being arrested under the Terrorism Act.

🇦🇺🏳️Adrian Macrae, a member of the City Council of Port Hedland, Australia, who attended the BRICS-2024 Summit in Kazan, spoke about the organisation's role in the world.

Macrae compared the recent summit to the Yalta Conference and the Bretton Woods Agreement. He added that the West now fears losing control of global trade.

"It's good to see that there are more than 30 countries in BRICS that are keen to work together to bring a new idea and a new system of cooperation in trade and cooperation rather than this aggressive way of 'either you do it our way or we'll send our military to overthrow you'," Adrian McRae said.

He also mentioned that Australian activist Semyon Boykov, known for his support of Russia, was "one of the greatest freedom fighters". According to McRae, Boykov has been able to "tell the West a different side" of the conflict in Ukraine.
