South Korea’s ruling party chief has accused President Yoon Suk-yeol of being a danger to his people after a botched attempt to impose martial law.

In stunning comments that raise the prospect of Yoon being impeached within days, Han Dong-hoon, the head of Yoon’s People Power Party, said there was now “credible evidence” that the president ordered the arrest of key politicians on Tuesday night.

It means the impeachment Bill that will go before South Korea’s lawmakers on Saturday looks more likely to pass.

⚠️ WAR CRIMES: UK Judge Rules Sufficient Evidence to Charge British Army’s ‘Soldier F’ with Murder on Bloody Sunday

‘Soldier F’ - who cannot be identified – will stand trial for murdering James Wray and William McKinney when members of the British Army Parachute Regiment shot dead 13 civil rights protesters on the streets of Derry, Ireland in January 1972.

The judge also ruled that he will be tried for five attempted murders on the infamous day dubbed Bloody Sunday.

In June, ‘Soldier F’s defense team made an application for the case to be dismissed ahead of a trial, arguing there was an “insufficiency of evidence” against him.

‘Soldier F’ pled not guilty to all charges from behind a screen in court.
