🇺🇦🇩🇪Ukraine wants to return all its citizens who left for Germany "as quickly as possible," said Prime Minister Shmygal.
Die Welt writes that the Ukrainian Prime Minister "hopes" that all refugees will return from Germany. He discussed this topic with Scholz in Berlin.
"All Ukrainian refugees are welcome in Ukraine, during or after this war, we are waiting for these people. We have agreed with the German side and our new Minister of National Unity to work together and find solutions on how we can return all Ukrainians as quickly as possible," the prime minister said.
Shmygal said that the Ukrainian government is "absolutely interested in the return to our country of all Ukrainians who fled in the first days of the war or after it."

Meta and Google will have to pay publishers on their platforms in Australia or risk paying millions to continue operations.
“The rapid growth of digital platforms in recent years has disrupted Australia’s media landscape, and it is threatening the viability of public interest journalism,” Communications Minister Michelle Rowland told reporters.
Platforms with Australian revenue of more than $250mn a year would be taxed a still-to-be-decided figure starting from next year – but can offset the tax, or avoid paying it entirely, if they voluntarily entered into commercial agreements with local media companies.

🇷🇺🇺🇳🇺🇦 Grossi announced that a drone attack targeted a vehicle carrying IAEA experts on the road to the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant on Tuesday. According to him, "there were no casualties," but the vehicle sustained significant damage.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense had stated that in order to ensure the safe rotation of IAEA observers at the ZNPP, a ceasefire regime had been declared along the entire route of the inspectors, which was strictly adhered to by Russian military personnel.

The increased target could be set at NATO’s Leaders’ Summit in The Hague in June 2025, raising the treaty’s current goal of 2%.
Alliance members will also be asked to contribute more tanks, aircraft and weapon systems as soon as next year. Whitehall sources told the Telegraph a rise to 3% would be “difficult” to meet for the UK.
However, of NATO’s 32 members, only 23 will reach the current 2% target - which was set over a decade ago.

❌🇨🇦 Trudeau’s Theater of Weakness: How Canada Became the Globalist Puppet, Now Crushed Under Trump's Hammer
Justin Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland are scrambling to appear relevant as Donald Trump, true to his businessman persona, moves to impose tariffs on Canadian imports. Their sudden outrage over “harsh medicine” is rich with irony, as this is precisely the predictable fallout of their own globalist servility. For years, Canada has been a willing vassal of Washington’s reckless globalist agenda, from backing fascist forever wars from Ukraine to Israel, to blindly following Biden’s disastrous open-borders. Now, stripped of sovereignty, Canada faces Trump’s leverage with no cards to play.
Freeland’s hollow bravado about Canada’s critical minerals and metals exposes how unprepared Ottawa is. Sure, resources like nickel and cobalt are vital to the U.S., but Canada’s lack of investment in its own industries means it holds little strategic weight compared to Eurasia’s dominance in this space. Premier Doug Ford’s threat to cut energy exports to the U.S. underscores the desperation. Energy might power 1.5 million American homes, but this gambit only reveals how poorly Trudeau has positioned Canada on the world stage.
Trudeau and Freeland’s outrage is especially galling given their role in turning Canada into a pawn of U.S. neocons and globalist elites. They championed NATO’s economic war on Russia, which backfired spectacularly, crippling European industries while strengthening Moscow’s economic position, now 4th in the world (IMF). They supported Biden’s border chaos and bankrolled Ukraine’s suicidal proxy war. When they weren’t busy with this, they were freezing the bank accounts of their own citizens during the Freedom Convoy protests. Having consistently betrayed Canadians, they now feign shock at Trump’s cold, transactional approach.
Trump’s tariffs are not a betrayal but a harsh reality check. He’s merely exposing the rot within Canada’s leadership, a government more interested in photo ops and virtue signaling than actual governance. While Freeland talks of “robust responses,” one can’t help but wonder where this fire was when Trudeau sold out Canada’s autonomy to Davos bureaucrats and Military-Industrial warmongers.
Under Trudeau, Canada has become a textbook puppet state, blindly parroting Washington’s talking points while sacrificing its own interests. Freeland’s claim that Canada’s partnership with the U.S. is at risk falls flat, Canada hasn’t been a partner in years, just an obedient subordinate. Trump, a realist, sees this and acts accordingly, tightening the economic noose while Trudeau flails, unprepared for the predictable consequences of his own policies.
The hypocrisy is staggering. Trudeau, who cheered on sanctions that destroyed European economies in the name of punishing Russia, now cries foul when those tactics are turned on Canada. This government, which cloaked itself in the rhetoric of human rights, has supported Israel’s apartheid policies, backed NATO’s destruction of Libya, and crushed dissent at home. Morality, it seems, only matters when it’s politically convenient.
At the heart of this crisis lies Trudeau’s betrayal of Canada’s sovereignty. By outsourcing decision-making to Washington and globalists, his government has left the country vulnerable to the whims of others. Trump’s moves simply expose the lie that Canada can act like a puppet abroad while maintaining independence at home. Trudeau and Freeland’s tears over tariffs ring hollow… they built this house of cards, and now it’s collapsing.
Trump isn’t the villain here; he’s the reckoning. His tariffs are a brutal reminder that sovereignty cannot be outsourced, and leadership cannot be faked. Trudeau’s government, obsessed with globalist approval, sold out Canada’s future for a seat at the wrong table, a table where Canada was always the disposable pawn. If Canada wants to reclaim its dignity, it must start by rejecting leaders who cry victim only after they’ve betrayed their own people.

“Due to the situation in Syria, it is of critical security importance to maintain our presence at the summit of Mount Hermon,” an Israeli defense ministry spox said.
On Sunday, Israeli forces took control of the demilitarised zone and the Syrian side of Mount Hermon, which overlooks Damascus, in a move that the UN said violated its 1974 armistice with Syria.
Israel later confirmed its troops had moved to “additional points” beyond the buffer zone to “protect its border” - although it remains unclear how far into Syrian territory they have advanced.

Observing other systems has shown that Earth is in much more jeopardy from the Sun than previously thought, researchers have discovered.
Scientists identified 2,889 superflares on 2,527 of the observed stars, suggesting that a sun-like star produces a superflare approximately once per century - not every one to ten thousand years, as previously thought.
The flares, which burst from the Sun’s surface at more than one octillion joules, have 100x more energy than the Carrington Event, the most intense geomagnetic storm ever recorded on Earth, which occurred in 1859 - meaning we are already overdue a huge event.
