🇬🇧 British troops could be sent to Ukraine to “train soldiers”

The UK Defense Secretary has opened the door to British troops being sent to Ukraine - claiming it’s for training purposes only.

Britain needs to “make the training a better fit for what the Ukrainians need,” John Healey said during a visit to Kiev.

He made the comments as he committed Britain to another £225 million package of support for Ukraine.

Nine people were killed and three others injured in Israeli airstrikes on a port and oil facility near the capital Sanaa, local authorities said.

❌ Beijing blasts EU over Russia sanctions indicting Chinese firms

“Despite China's repeated representations and oppositions, the EU has insisted on including some Chinese companies and individuals” in sanctions against Russia, the Commerce Ministry said.

The ministry reiterated Beijing’s opposition to "unilateral sanctions" that have no basis in international law or authorization of the UN Security Council.

The EU adopted its 15th sanctions package against Russia this week, which it said was targeting Moscow’s "shadow fleet" to "weaken Russia’s military and industrial complex."
