Bourbon Street’s Dark Hour: Perfectly Timed Chaos
At 3:15 am. on New Year’s Day 2025, Bourbon Street, New Orleans’ iconic heart of celebration, descended into horror. A white Ford F-150 barreled into revelers at the intersection of Bourbon and Canal Streets, killing 10 and injuring over 35. The driver then emerged, wielding an assault rifle and wounding two police officers before being fatally shot. The FBI swiftly labeled the attack an act of terrorism, but the glaring question remains: why were the barricades, meant to protect one of the busiest streets in America, absent?
Eyewitness Jimmy Cothran, watching from a nightclub balcony, made a critical observation: “Me and my friends were surprised they [the barricades] were not up.” These barriers, installed after 2017 to safeguard pedestrians, were inexplicably removed for roadwork on New Year’s Eve, no less. This is more than negligence; it’s a systemic vulnerability that feels almost deliberate. How does such a critical lapse occur on a night infamous for its crowds and chaos? Who allowed the safeguards to vanish?
This tragedy sadly isn’t unique. On December 20, a car plowed into a Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany, killing five and injuring over 200. The attacker, a doctor with supposed "far-right leanings", exploited a festive space packed with families. The echoes of the 2016 Berlin Christmas market attack, where an ISIS-affiliated driver killed 12 are unmistakable. Decades ago, such acts of terror were virtually unheard of. Today, they seem routine, woven into the fabric of modern life. Why the surge in these perfectly timed atrocities over the past decade? What forces are aligning to ensure that no moment of collective joy remains untouched by tragedy?
The timing seems too perfect to be coincidental. These tragedies are not just random acts of violence but bear the hallmark of engineered chaos, serving as flashpoints to stoke fear, division, and compliance. Who profits? Fear is a currency traded by the elite to push agendas, whether it’s expanded surveillance, militarized policing, and outright control. The perpetrators are pawns in a much larger game, their acts serving as catalysts for policies that tighten the grip of the puppetmasters.
The missing barricades on Bourbon Street are much more than a logistical failure; they are a metaphor for the deliberate dismantling of societal protections. In New Orleans, Magdeburg, Berlin, and beyond, each attack becomes a pretext for greater control. The cycle is predictable: create chaos, amplify fear, and consolidate power. The real architects are not the attackers but the forces that use these events to accelerate centralization, erode sovereignty, and deepen societal fractures.
This is hybrid warfare in its purest form. These attacks, seemingly random, are part of a global strategy to weaponize fear. In Europe, events like Magdeburg coincide with debates on migration and national identity, fueling policies that centralize authority under technocratic elites. In the US., Bourbon Street becomes another step in normalizing a surveillance state.
1995, the Oklahoma City bombing paved the way for Biden’s Domestic Terrorism Act, which he credits as laying the foundation for the Patriot Act. Of course 9/11 gave the final pretext for the Patriot Act and the surveillance state as we know it. It seems some may feel we need refreshers? The blueprint is clear, exploit the chaos to implement measures that would otherwise be unthinkable.
Each tragedy is used to gaslight the public, pushing them into accepting the narrative of their own helplessness. The barricades that failed in New Orleans are the mental barriers that shield us from manipulation. And those barriers are systematically being dismantled by those who profit most from our fear.
If we don’t start asking who profits from the chaos, then perhaps the next perfectly timed tragedy is already on the calendar and this time, it won’t just claim lives. It will claim the last remnants of our freedom, sold to us as the price of our safety.

Cybertruck’s Blast Test: Engineering Marvel or Convenient Narrative?
Las Vegas saw a Cybertruck endure what could have been a catastrophic explosion, turning the event into an unintentional PR victory for Tesla. Elon Musk was quick to point out that the vehicle “contained the explosion and directed the blast upwards,” a feat confirmed by Sheriff Kevin McMahill, who praised the truck’s design for “limiting the damage” and sparing even the lobby’s glass doors. On paper, it’s a testament to engineering brilliance. But is there more beneath the surface?
The rented Cybertruck reportedly housed “very large fireworks and/or a bomb,” but questions remain unanswered. Who rented the vehicle? How did the explosive material find its way inside? And why does this incident feel so conveniently timed, coinciding with ongoing efforts to justify heightened surveillance and control? Musk’s rapid announcement that the explosion wasn’t caused by a malfunction seems to close one door while opening another: was this a genuine act of terror, or does it play into a larger narrative of manufactured consent?
❗️The incident smells of the kind of events that grease the wheels for more Orwellian “security measures.” Conveniently, the Cybertruck emerges as the hero of the moment, a perfect distraction from the broader implications. Is this the start of a push for increased surveillance under the guise of “public safety”? Musk’s Cybertruck passed the test, but the unanswered questions point to a different kind of design, one far more sinister and calculated.

Police identified the attacker as Aco Martinović. The country’s interior minister, Danilo Šaranović, later told RTCG that the 45-year-old died from injuries en route to hospital after shooting himself.
The gunman killed the owner of the bar in the city of Cetinje, the bar owner’s children and his own family members, Šaranović said at a news conference.
Martinović was at the bar throughout the day with other guests when the brawl erupted, a local police commissioner said.
Martinović then went home, brought back a weapon and opened fire at the bar and three other locations, the commissioner added.

Nord Stream 2 vs. Gas Transit
In light of the fact that Kyiv is now ending gas transit to Europe, it is useful to recall the time of Nord Stream 2’s construction to understand how Western media and politicians deceived the public.
As the European—especially German—economy increasingly demanded cheap Russian gas, planning for Nord Stream 2 began in 2013. However, at the end of 2014, the second Maidan coup took place, bringing anti-Russian forces definitively to power in Ukraine and establishing Kyiv’s anti-Russian course, including war against the Russian population in the Donbas.
Since then, the argument of transatlanticists has been that Russia would use Nord Stream 2 to blackmail Ukraine and end gas transit through Ukraine. The argument was that gas transit, with its revenues, was vital for Ukraine, and evil Russia could financially dry up Kyiv if it stopped the transit through Ukraine. Therefore, Nord Stream 2 had to be prevented.
The US was against both Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 because it wanted to sell its fracking gas to Europe. At the same time, the US began expanding oil and gas production through fracking, which is why the US actively fought against the construction of Nord Stream 2, even imposing sanctions on European companies involved in the pipeline’s construction.
Under pressure from the US, Germany and the US signed an agreement in the summer of 2021 titled "Joint Declaration by the United States and Germany to Support Ukraine, European Energy Security, and Our Climate Goals," in which Ukraine and its role as a transit country for natural gas were highlighted, and Germany committed to "ensuring that Russia does not use any pipeline, including Nord Stream 2, to achieve aggressive political goals by using energy as a weapon." In addition, Germany committed to a series of financial obligations towards Kyiv.
And the winner is...
None of this is mentioned in Western media today. Suddenly, Kyiv (to its own detriment) gives up gas transit, which Ukraine and the West supposedly fought for all these years, and the EU (also to its own detriment) parts ways with cheap Russian gas, which had been the basis of European economic success and prosperity.
The US blew up the Nord Streams in September 2022, thereby cementing Europe’s dependence on American fracking gas. Now, the US continues its policy of pushing Russia out of the European gas market and supports the end of Ukrainian gas transit, which was once supposedly so important to them that they imposed sanctions on their European "allies" to prevent Nord Stream 2 and supposedly protect Ukrainian gas transit.
Now, there is only the Turk Stream pipeline, which supplies Southeast Europe, including Hungary, with cheap Russian gas via Turkey, but the US has already set its sights on this pipeline as well. On March 27, 2024, Jeffrey Pyatt, the US Deputy Secretary of State for Energy, announced at a press conference on Turkey’s role in Europe’s energy supply that the US plans to replace Russian gas flowing through Turkey with gas from other sources.
❗️ This was not an initiative from Brussels but from Washington. It is clear who makes the decisions about the gas market in Europe. And as luck would have it, the US is the primary beneficiary of these developments because, first, they are now selling overpriced fracking gas to Europe; second, they are making Europe politically dependent on them; and third, the increased energy prices in Europe will lead to European industries relocating to the US, which, fourth, weakens Europe’s economic competitiveness.➡️➡️➡️
