If you desire Bitcoin in its truest form, the only path lies with BSV. BSV is the uncompromising choice for those who seek to transact directly, as digital cash, with privacy and control firmly in their own hands. Anonymity is a veil, an illusion of freedom that is easily torn apart, halted on a whim.

Privacy, however – real privacy, grounded in ownership and accountability – is immutable, a fortress that can withstand the scrutiny of any authority if used correctly.

With BSV, you hold individual coins, transferring value at nearly no cost, defying the burdens of middlemen. The moment people grasp this – take it online, use it as their tool, and wield its strength – they encounter the essence of Bitcoin’s power. That is the revolution. That is when it matters.

Idea.

Imagine you have a digital wallet on your phone that holds several “coins,” each representing a different amount of Bitcoin.

These coins are visually displayed on the screen as circles of various sizes—the larger the circle, the higher the value. When you want to pay someone, you select the specific coins you want to use, much like picking physical coins from your pocket.

Instead of sending everything in one go, each selected coin is sent separately as its own payment. For each payment, the app creates a new, unique address (like a one-time-use destination) by performing a secure process that combines a bit of information from both you and the person you’re paying.

This ensures that each transaction is private and unique. You can also choose to split a coin into smaller parts or combine smaller coins into a larger one, depending on how you want to manage your payments.

This way, even if you’re paying for a single item, each coin is handled independently, providing more control and privacy in every transaction. The app’s design allows you to visually manage and send your Bitcoin in a way that feels more like handling physical coins, making the process easy to understand and use.

In this system, when you decide to send a set amount, like $5, the app allows you to select multiple coins from your wallet that together meet or exceed this amount.

For example, if you have coins worth $2, $2, and $3, you could select these to reach $7, covering the $5 payment and leaving $2 as “change.” Each selected coin is sent as an independent transaction, each with its own unique, newly generated address, so there’s never any address reuse. The app then automatically consolidates any excess amount into a new coin, storing it back in your wallet with its own fresh address. This keeps your wallet organized and simplifies future transactions, as all change is returned as a single, new coin rather than multiple fragments.

Unless you choose small coins.

Additionally, this process can be fully automated. Once you set an amount to send, the app can select the coins for you, ensuring you reach or exceed the payment amount. It can then handle the creation of individual transactions and the return of any change as a new coin, without requiring further input.

This makes the process both secure, private and convenient, allowing you to focus on what you’re sending without managing every detail manually.

Idea.

Petroleum Power: The U.S. Election Cycle and OPEC’s Role in Geopolitical Risk Management

The Biden administration’s foreign policy in the Middle East has leaned towards de-escalation recently, likely to prevent any price volatility from disrupting the U.S. economy before the election.

Market analysts from Standard Chartered have noted that prices “relaxed too quickly,” suggesting an artificial calm ahead of potential spikes.

📊 #OilPrices

OPEC+ is also playing its part by potentially delaying a planned increase in output, responding to current soft demand forecasts. However, such moves only serve as a temporary stabiliser. When election-related pressures subside, the reality of ongoing regional tensions may reassert itself, leading to upward price movement.
#OPEC

This pre-election strategy to maintain a “calm before the storm” reflects the Biden administration’s priority on domestic stability during a sensitive time. Oil market stability has historically been tied to U.S. electoral cycles, where administrations try to ensure affordable energy for consumers, especially during peak voting periods.
#Elections2024

In the broader scope, non-OPEC producers like Russia are expanding their production independently, adding to OPEC’s balancing act. While OPEC has some influence over prices, the re-emergence of tensions—whether from Israeli-Iranian conflicts or new sanctions—would heavily impact the market.

Market analysts are increasingly warning that, once the political motivations of election season fade, deferred pressures may trigger a price spike. If tensions around key oil transit routes like the Strait of Hormuz escalate, prices could surge well beyond current stability, driving oil towards $80+.

#CrudeOil

I believe the current oil price stability is likely short-lived. The political scenario ahead of November’s elections has created an unsustainable calm. Post-election, U.S. crude may indeed rally to $78-$82 as the market adjusts to re-emerging geopolitical risks.

#OilMarkets #EnergyEconomics #Elections

Political elections can drive oil prices in the short term by creating an illusion of stability, as candidates often seek to maintain domestic economic satisfaction through diplomatic tactics that suppress underlying tensions. This strategy works to temporarily pacify markets, aligning the facade of calm with the public's desire for stability. Yet, reality’s fundamentals—the immutable laws of supply, demand, and geopolitical risk—inevitably reassert themselves.

Diplomatic disputes are sometimes deferred, tensions swept under the rug, merely to present a veneer of control. In the long term, however, these superficial fixes fail, and prices adjust to reflect the true state of the global stage, where unresolved conflicts resurface, and the price of crude ultimately aligns with the raw truths of scarcity, conflict, and necessity.

The notion that "Bitcoin belongs to the community" is a façade – a dangerous illusion of collectivism. When you relinquish ownership to some undefined "community," you are not liberating the concept of Bitcoin; you are binding it, enslaving it to the whims of a few shadowy figures who wield true power. "Community ownership" is merely a mask for centralization under a select elite, whether they call themselves BTC Core or something else entirely. Just as Stalin ruled behind the mask of serving "the people," BTC Core exerts control over Bitcoin under the guise of communal interest.

This is the poison of collectivist ideas – they lull you into believing that you are part of a great, shared endeavor, all while reducing you to a pawn, a mere instrument in someone else’s game. In reality, no community truly “owns” anything. Only the individual, with his or her mind, choices, and property, can lay claim to genuine ownership. Anything less is a betrayal of reason, a handover of one’s sovereignty to others. Bitcoin, if it is to remain true to its origins, must stand for individual ownership, not the empty rhetoric of "community" that inevitably hides a tyrant's ambitions.

Truth stands as an absolute, a concept untouchable by whim or wounded pride.

To argue that truth should bend because someone feels “offended” is to invite the corruption of reality by subjective emotions. If we allow offense to dictate truth, then truth itself becomes an empty shell, a malleable tool in the hands of anyone with an agenda.

The very idea is absurd: offense is not evidence, nor is it argument. It proves nothing beyond a person’s own discomfort with reality.

To claim offense as a rebuttal is to dodge the question, to abandon reason.

It is a tactic, not a truth.

And the true absurdity lies here—who can prove their “offense” is genuine? It could just as easily be feigned, a convenient weapon used to silence a challenge or win a debate without substance.

To be offended by truth is a personal failing, a refusal to accept what is. The world is not obligated to spare our feelings, and we have no right to demand that it should.

Truth exists beyond the reach of emotion. If it offends, that offense reflects the limitations of the person, not the validity of the fact. We each have a responsibility to seek truth without fear of who it may disturb.

For anyone who claims to be “offended” by reality, the answer is simple: face it, grow stronger, and move on.

What, then, is hate speech?

Who decides, and by what standard, that a particular utterance deserves to be silenced or punished?

Hate speech is not an objective term; it is a tool of subjective interpretation, a label that shifts and expands as governments see fit.

It is a concept crafted to make condemnation and restriction flexible, adaptable to whatever message those in power deem undesirable at any given time.

With hate speech, the goalposts are not fixed; they are moved and manipulated, widening or narrowing based on political expedience, ensuring that the threat of accusation hangs over everyone.

If something can be called hate merely because it offends or challenges, then anyone can be guilty, anyone can be silenced, and the state holds the ultimate authority over what can and cannot be said.

A system that upholds absolute free speech—where speech is recorded and attributable, not suppressed—is the only way to prevent this creeping tyranny. In such a system, people are free to speak, to err, even to be offensive, but they are also held accountable, open to challenge and debate.

That is the essence of #freedom, not the shifting, subjective tyranny cloaked in the guise of protecting society from hate.

Absolute free speech means allowing people to say anything, regardless of whether it’s right or wrong, true or false. It doesn’t censor or block expression, even if that expression is offensive, mistaken, or controversial.

Under absolute free speech, every viewpoint can be aired without the looming threat of restriction. Yet, this freedom isn’t a free pass for lies or slander to go unchallenged. The solution isn’t to silence people; it’s to ensure accountability, to let speech be scrutinized openly, and for those responsible to stand behind what they say.

This is where a system like Bitcoin’s, or more broadly, a decentralized ledger, could transform the idea of free speech in practice. Imagine a platform where words aren’t erased or hidden but recorded, where individuals cannot escape accountability by deleting their posts or hiding their actions. A public, immutable record doesn’t prevent anyone from speaking, but it does ensure that speech is attributable. When someone puts out slander or libel, their statement is traceable to them. They can say what they want, but they are accountable for the impact of their words.

Such a system doesn’t suppress speech but empowers a free marketplace of ideas where claims, especially harmful or false ones, can be examined and refuted transparently. With this, we move from a world where speech is controlled to one where actions—words included—have consequences. People are free to speak, but they’re equally open to being confronted and held accountable for their words. In this framework, truth isn’t imposed by authority; it’s uncovered through open debate, with every claim tied to its originator, fostering a system where speech is free, but responsibility is inescapable.
