In court, they had every opportunity to place the original design under scrutiny, to compare Satoshi’s own words and vision against what they now call Bitcoin.

Yet, they sidestepped it.

They carefully carved out history, excluding everything that mattered—Satoshi’s statements, the purpose embedded within the original white paper, and the years that bridged 2014 to Bitcoin’s creation. This omission is not accidental; it is a deliberate evasion. If they sought to prove me wrong, they had their chance. They could have shown that BTC aligns with the original principles, that it holds true to what Bitcoin was meant to be. Crohn’s disease and celiac disease—these are not minor inconveniences but relentless realities that rob the body of its ability to absorb essential nutrients. In a life shackled by these limitations, the nutrient density and bioavailability of animal products become indispensable. The body, compromised in its ability to extract sustenance from plants, demands the concentrated, potent nourishment that only animal sources can provide: protein, iron, B12—essentials that are neither negotiable nor replaceable.

Bitcoin’s Strength Lies in Immutable Ideas, Not Individuals. BTC Core’s strategy hinges on attacking a person rather than engaging with Bitcoin’s foundational principles. By focusing on a figure to critique, they divert attention from the original vision of Bitcoin as a fixed, unchanging system meant to function independently of any individual, including its creator.

The Strawman of Satoshi: BTC Core has constructed a version of Satoshi that can be criticised and dismissed, portraying Bitcoin’s founding ideals as flexible and subject to reinterpretation. This strawman allows them to bypass engaging directly with the protocol’s immutable logic and instead to promote changes that align with their agenda.

The Paradox of Needing Satoshi to Attack Satoshi’s Ideas: BTC Core’s reliance on a personal target reveals a paradox; they need a person to embody Satoshi, yet only so they can undermine the very principles that this person represents. This approach weakens the discourse by reducing it to personality, steering the conversation away from the essential attributes of Bitcoin’s design.

Identity Attacks Distract From Bitcoin’s Progress: By targeting me as an individual, BTC Core deflects arguments away from Bitcoin’s intended scalability and unchanging protocol. This focus on identity has delayed important developments, such as the Teranode scaling project, which is now years behind due to the persistence of these distractions.

An Idea That Stands Beyond Individuals: Satoshi’s vision was set in stone to create a system that could withstand human biases and influence, operating independently of any one person. The true strength of Bitcoin lies in its design, not in any individual associated with it. Re-focusing the conversation on these core principles, free from identity-based arguments, is essential to preserving the integrity and purpose of Bitcoin as a decentralised, immutable system.

Moving Forward: The future of Bitcoin depends on ignoring these strawman tactics and returning to the core of Satoshi’s idea: a protocol that remains unaltered, secure, and scalable.

By centering on Bitcoin’s unchanging framework, the ecosystem can fulfill the original promise of a resilient, decentralized financial system, beyond the reach of individual agendas and manipulations.
