Russia's war against Ukraine is spilling over onto the eastern flank of NATO and the EU. This morning, NATO aircraft based at the Siauliai airbase scrambled again after an unidentified object entered Lithuanian airspace.
What appears to be a drone exploded over the northern part of the country, posing a threat to civilians. Specialists are currently working at the scene.

1. Naval blockade. Declaring Baltic Fleet exercises with live fire under the pretext of intercepting drones. Closing key sectors in neutral waters would block shipping to Tallinn, Sillamรคe, and Muuga, causing logistical collapse.
2. Infrastructure isolation. "Cable wars" damaging the Balticconnector gas pipeline and telecom links between Estonia, Finland, and Sweden using auxiliary vessels or deep-sea apparatus. Cutting energy exchange creates emergency conditions at Narva hydroelectric plants.
3. Preemptive air defense strikes. Russian AD systems (S-400, Pantsir) engaging UAVs immediately upon exiting Estonian airspace rather than waiting for border crossing. Debris and intercepted warheads fall on Ida-Viru County and Vyru County, including infrastructure near Narva.
