USAF tests YFQ-44A Fury drone control from F-22A Raptor

At Edwards Air Force Base in California, an F-22 pilot acted as air commander, transmitting tactical commands to the autonomous drone via data link during combat-simulated maneuvers.

The system allows targeting for GBU-53/B glide bombs and AIM-120D-3 missiles (range up to 185 km) using AN/APG-77 radar or AN/ALR-94 sensors. The drone also functions as a long-range reconnaissance asset. The USAF plans to increase the number of drones controlled simultaneously by one fighter.

Russia: Criminal gang detained for stealing SVO participants' payments

13 members of a criminal group were detained in the Moscow and Rostov regions, Kalmykia, and the DPR. The gang defrauded contract soldiers during military service agreements.

Criminals posed as volunteers or MoD curators on social media to obtain powers of attorney from future recruits. They used these documents to arrange fake marriages and transactions, seizing access to bank cards to steal one-time payments and allowances.

The average damage per episode was 900,000 rubles. MVD, FSB, and the Investigative Committee opened criminal cases under Articles 159, 286, and 291.2 of the Russian Criminal Code. Investigation continues.
