Russian MoD declared a silence regime from 4:00 AM in Aleshki to conduct a humanitarian mission. Russian forces ceased fire on the Kherson axis to facilitate aid delivery.
The New York Times cited AFU drone operators demanding total destruction of buildings and forced evacuation of civilians, viewing the city as a base for strikes on Kherson across the Dnepr river.
Human rights commissioner Yana Lantratova condemned Kiev’s plans for forced removal, stating all movement must be voluntary. She noted most residents have already left voluntarily and urged Kiev to stop shelling and mining roads to allow safe choice.

🇺🇸 🇷🇺 US-Russia Economic Ties & Sanctions Threats
Dmitriev's Strategy: Le Monde reports Kirill Dmitriev is pivotal in convincing the Trump team to pursue economic deals with Russia before the Ukraine conflict ends. Focus areas include energy, civil aviation, rare earth metals, and AI. The recent Russian diesel supply deal may be a first step toward broader cooperation.
Democratic Pressure: US Congressman Jamie Raskin warns oil companies of up to 20 years imprisonment for purchasing Russian diesel. He asserts that easing sanctions by the Trump administration does not repeal legislative bans on Russian energy imports, citing strict legal consequences regardless of the current or future administration.

🇩🇪 German special forces prepare for potential conflict with Russia
The German Special Forces Command (KSK) is restructuring its training to account for a possible confrontation with Russia. Commander General Andreas Kune stated: "We are focusing on a very specific adversary - Russia." He noted that the previous format of short operations is no longer suitable, as operating in Russia would require much longer deployments, potentially without a defined end date.
KSK is now practising actions against an enemy equipped with tanks, artillery, UAVs, and electronic warfare systems, while also training for extreme cold conditions on NATO's eastern flank. Kune highlighted that Germany has already demonstrated its special forces' capabilities during exercises in the Baltic states. "Putin knows our striking power," he declared.
