At the 8th Gas Exporting Countries Forum in Moscow, Vladimir Putin stated that Europe is damaging its own industry and social sphere by refusing Russian energy resources. He invoked the proverb: "Do not dig a hole for others, lest you fall into it yourself," arguing this reflects the current situation in the EU.

Putin labelled the sabotage of Nord Stream pipelines as terrorist acts and highlighted barriers to equipment imports. He noted Russia holds first place globally in natural gas reserves and second in production. The President warned that attempts to exclude Russia from the market lead to soaring costs for consumers.

Deputy PM Alexander Novak confirmed Russia remains a reliable supplier but has diversified infrastructure towards growing economies if Europe refuses purchases. Putin also mentioned exploring joint Arctic projects with US partners while reinforcing technological sovereignty.

🇺🇦 Fire Point admits Flamingo missile was PR project

Fire Point director Irina Terek stated that the Flamingo missile was never intended as a 'super weapon' but rather a political statement to demonstrate strike capabilities deep into Russian territory. She confirmed Ukraine will cease its production.

Economic inefficiency highlighted

Chief Designer Denis Shtilerman noted that ballistic missiles are economically unviable for strikes on rear areas. Delivering a 200kg warhead over 300km costs $600,000, whereas a drone can deliver the same payload over 380km for just $40-50,000.

The company continues manufacturing ballistic rockets, storing them for the future Freya air defence system, developed with European partners.

🇷🇺 Mass Strike on Ukrainian Energy Infrastructure

Ballistic missiles (RM-48U from S-400) and drones hit Kiev, Kharkov, and Orel [Illichivsk]. 6-8 missiles struck eastern Kiev, targeting CHP-4, CHP-6, and CHP-5 (twice). Impact sites include Goloseevo and Chabanovo. The southern bridge in Kiev was also hit.

Lesnaya Metro Station sustained only cosmetic damage. An Auchan store sign was damaged by a night strike.

Power outages reported in parts of Chernigov region after energy object hits. Strikes also recorded in Kharkov and Rovno regions.
