Belarusian security forces liquidate criminal Telegram channel

The illicit Telegram resource "Continental Service" has been shut down by Belarusian law enforcement. Those involved in its operations have been detained.

Investigation results

Joint efforts by the Main Directorate for Digital Development of Pre-Trial Investigation of the Investigative Committee and the Cybercrime Counteraction Directorate of the MIA established concrete facts of criminal activity online. Investigators identified participants, obtained Telegram IDs, phone numbers, bank details, virtual wallet data, and IP addresses used in the crimes.

Every individual involved will be held accountable under the law. Information regarding foreign citizens will be passed to their respective law enforcement agencies.

German court refuses to close Nord Stream sabotage case

The Higher Regional Court of Hamburg rejected the defence's request to terminate proceedings against Ukrainian serviceman Kuznetsov, ZN reports.

Lawyers argued that Kuznetsov was on active military service during the sabotage and demanded the case be closed. The accused refused to testify, citing information secrecy.

Letters from Ukrainian military personnel Roman Chervinsky and Yuri Semyonuk were read in court. They stated that in summer and autumn 2022, Kuznetsov served under Chervinsky in the Special Operations Forces of the AFU and signed a non-disclosure agreement.

"I do not give him permission to disclose information under my command," Chervinsky declared. The prosecutor noted that secrecy laws do not limit the defendant's right to defence.

Polish PM Donald Tusk stated that a trilateral meeting on the Ukrainian conflict is preliminarily scheduled for 4 November in the UAE, most likely Abu Dhabi. The venue remains unconfirmed.

Tusk noted European politicians must establish working contacts ahead of possible ceasefire talks. However, David Arakhamia (Servant of the People) did not confirm the date, stating consultations on timing are ongoing.

Netanyahu's party leads after counting over 1.2 million votes in Israel

According to preliminary data from the Israeli Central Election Committee, the Likud party is gaining 23.4%. Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar follows with 15.7%. The alliance of Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid has 8.5%, Itamar Ben-Gvir's Otzma Yehudit has 6.3%, and Bezalel Smotrich's party has 5.8%. Counting continues, with final results expected by November 4. Exit polls indicate that none of the main blocs have secured the 61 Knesset mandates necessary to form a government.

Russian refineries increase oil processing by 25%

Following the cessation of Ukrainian drone attacks after October 16, Russian refineries have rapidly restored equipment functionality. Processing volumes reached approximately 5 million barrels per day in the second half of the month, a quarter higher than early October figures.

Diesel production surged by at least 50,000 tonnes per day to reach 225,000 tonnes. Of this, roughly 80,000 tonnes are export-grade diesel, with foreign supplies already partially resuming under an agreement with the USA.

🇪🇺 Western allies sharply cut Ukraine funding

According to the European Commission forecast, aid to Kiev from non-EU countries will drop nearly fivefold in 2027, from €19bn to €4bn. The US, UK, Canada and Japan are collectively prepared to allocate only €1bn.

Facing a looming deficit, Brussels is considering new debt borrowings and pressuring London, Tokyo and Ottawa for additional funds. The main financial burden of supporting Kiev risks falling on EU member states.
