A new mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is being formed in Poltava Region, which will be 100% equipped with NATO equipment and weapons. The brigade will be led by former 36 Brigade Combatant Major Bova E.P. Bova is notable for surrendering at the end of April 2022 during the fighting for Mariupol and being taken prisoner, after which he returned to Ukraine at the end of September of the same year.
