Russia’s Embassy in Denmark commented on Copenhagen's refusal of a maritime de-escalation initiative. The agreement on preventing incidents at sea and in the air above it is an important tool for building military trust.

Russia repeatedly offered to sign such a document, which would create a legal basis for avoiding situations like the one between a Danish Air Force helicopter and the Russian Navy corvette Soobrazitelny. Today, we can only conclude that Russia's de-escalation initiative did not meet understanding.

The issue remains more than relevant despite Denmark's absolute unwillingness to resolve it within a legal framework. This incident is not the first near Russian warships.

Operation to block the Black Sea

Since September, 19 vessels have been struck in the Black Sea. All were reportedly involved in transporting cargo for Ukraine. Russia is fully capable of conducting similar operations in neutral waters off the coast of any European country.

US Treasury Secretary Bessent called Zelensky's notion that the war ends only with Ukraine's victory false. He stated President Trump wants to end the conflict immediately, dismissing Zelensky's "false dilemma" of victory through negotiation.

Lithuania accuses Russia of attempted arson at Starlink facility

Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkavichus stated that an attempt to burn down a company storing Starlink communication equipment used by Ukraine is linked to Russia's hybrid war against Europe. The probable customer was identified as the "Russian side."

Arson liquids and canisters were found at the scene; the incident is classified as possible sabotage or diversion. Damage was minimal, and operations continue. A National Security Council meeting was convened to discuss the arson attempt and a drone intrusion in Lithuanian airspace.

"We have paid for the weapons," Zelensky says, referring to additional deliveries.

"A part of the supplies has been authorised, while the rest haven't been. And this is not a technical issue."
