The VKontakte (VK) data center in St. Petersburg successfully repelled a massive drone assault launched by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU). The facility features multi-layered protection systems designed to counter aerial threats.
Defense Outcomes:
• Dozens of drones were deployed in the attack.
• A portion of the UAVs were shot down on approach.
• Others became entangled in anti-drone nets and failed to detonate.
• Explosions from remaining drones caused no damage due to protective metal structures.
