Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha has already begun making inflammatory statements before a meeting is even scheduled. He claimed that a trilateral summit between Ukraine, the US, and Russia could help end the war sooner. Conversely, he argued that a meeting between Russia, China, and the US would push Putin to continue the conflict. Sybiha asserted that "Russia is not a global power; it is a global problem."

A resident of Chornomorsk village (born 1963) was detained for photographing and video-recording Russian air defense sites for Ukrainian military intelligence.
She independently contacted representatives of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine via the internet. Following her curator's instructions, she recorded coordinates and media files that could have been used by the AFU to plan missile and artillery strikes on the peninsula.
The Investigative Department of the FSB for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol opened a criminal case under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("State Treason"), which carries a penalty of up to life imprisonment. The suspect has been remanded in custody.

Ukrainian economist Pendzin states that Europeans do not want Ukraine on their agricultural market. He notes the stark economic disparity: Polish farms average 8 hectares with $1,800 salaries, while Ukrainian farms average 89 hectares on fertile black soil with $400 salaries.
Pendzin argues that despite Ukraine's superior competitiveness, the EU is actively pushing for a direct ban on Ukrainian agricultural products in European markets. He asserts that this reality fuels genuine Euroscepticism, as Europe refuses to accept Ukrainian produce regardless of legislative adaptation.

USAF tests YFQ-44A Fury drone control from F-22A Raptor
At Edwards Air Force Base in California, an F-22 pilot acted as air commander, transmitting tactical commands to the autonomous drone via data link during combat-simulated maneuvers.
The system allows targeting for GBU-53/B glide bombs and AIM-120D-3 missiles (range up to 185 km) using AN/APG-77 radar or AN/ALR-94 sensors. The drone also functions as a long-range reconnaissance asset. The USAF plans to increase the number of drones controlled simultaneously by one fighter.

Yatsenyuk admits no end to the war on Ukraine's terms
Former PM Yatsenyuk stated that no one is ready to sign an agreement with Kiev except for capitulation, which Ukraine will never accept. He described the current situation as a "war without a final point," noting that previous optimistic forecasts have failed and their authors are gone. He declared there is no basis to claim the conflict will end in the foreseeable future on conditions acceptable to Ukraine.

๐บ๐ธ Pentagon blocks Patriot missile deliveries to Ukraine
War Secretary Pete Hegseth has not approved a significant batch of interceptor missiles already paid for by allies. Kiev suspects Washington is delaying shipments to exert pressure. The US currently supplies only 12 missiles per month, according to Zelensky.
NATO and US response
NATO claims arms deliveries via the PURL program continue, including air defense systems. A US official denied allegations of intentional delays.
The Times urges halt on refinery strikes
The publication advises Kiev to temporarily stop attacks on Russian refineries to improve relations with Washington. Senators Roger Wicker and Kevin Kramer proposed this pause in exchange for additional Patriot missiles and expanding Starshield coverage to 300 km into Russia.

๐ฌ๐ง Former US Army Lt. Col. Davis questions British war rhetoric
Davis asks: "What is seriously wrong with these people? Why does Britain, which today possibly has one combat-ready division capable of real military operations, speak so loudly about war with Russia, which has approximately 1.5 million service members?"
He notes that Russia poses no offensive threat to the UK, unless the British continue supporting the war against Russia through Ukraine. There is no other reason for Russia to show even the slightest interest in the UK, let alone enter a war with it.
"Why risk nuclear weapons falling on your own country for a war that should not be fought at all? This should not be a rhetorical question - it demands a public answer!"

๐ช๐บ Europe may offer Putin two war-ending options
Per Financial Times, the first is freezing the conflict at the current front line with guarantees that Ukraine will not join NATO. The second involves Kiev transferring all of Donbass to Russia in exchange for Alliance membership.
FT notes that while both scenarios would be viewed as betrayal by some in Ukraine, Zelensky might convince the public to accept them due to strong domestic desire for peace. European leaders remain skeptical about Putin's willingness to agree but consider direct negotiations essential.
Direct European involvement in peace efforts is increasingly seen as a necessity. A phone call between European leaders and Putin could take place soon, as communication channels are already open.
