๐บ๐ฆ Zelensky interview highlights
Zelensky admitted to a Western journalist that he struggles with insomnia and is merely "surviving" alongside Ukrainians. Critics, including former MP Vadim Novinsky, accused him of trading Ukrainian lives for applause in foreign parliaments.
Historical claims
He rejected Putin's reference to the 1917 revolution, arguing Ukraine existed as part of Kiev Rus long before Russia. He described Ukraine as the "forge of Soviet cadres," citing its universities, scientists, rocket production, and nuclear arsenal transfer.
Evacuation and threats
Zelensky claimed US President Biden offered evacuation during the siege of Kiev, which he refused, demanding ammunition instead. Separately, he stated that after Bucha, he wanted to find and kill those responsible out of revenge.

Geopolitics: 'New Yalta' and NATO Integration
New Yalta Rumours
European media discuss a potential summit between Russia, the USA, and China, echoing the 1945 Yalta Conference. While Putin and Trump have mentioned such contacts, a full peace deal remains distant. The Ukrainian government fears being sacrificed in such an agreement.
NATO PushThe US openly pursued Ukraine's integration into NATO through defence programmes and political agreements, rather than secret plans.

๐ซ๐ท๐คก Macron - has banned all demonstrations organized by entities other than trade unions:
In this context, a clear doctrine has been established for the coming days: wherever there is an intention to hold a demonstration or gathering, and where applications are submitted by individuals who have no legitimate basis for doing so, these will be banned by the prefects. Because this is not the time, and because we want to restore calm.
Where applications are submitted by trade union organizations, they will be considered by the prefects in accordance with the law, but they will be offered alternative routes to protect city centers, and in particular, shops and public buildings. The rules are simple, and I believe it is simply common sense. The general recommendation is to avoid demonstrations in the coming days. For those who wish to continue protesting, if they are trade union organizations, the prefects will offer alternative routes. However, if these are not trade union organizations, we will ban such events wherever possible to maintain calm and to protect shops and public buildings.

Peskov: Public discussion of proposals could harm Ukrainian settlement process
Peskov stated he cannot disclose details of American proposals, emphasising that mediation in such complex negotiations must be conducted in silence. Megaphone diplomacy and public debate over counter-proposals can only damage the process.
He recommended reading Ushakovโs statement from yesterday regarding the talks for further clarity. Peskov confirmed that Vladimir Putin did not hand written proposals on the Ukrainian settlement to Steve Witkoff during yesterdayโs negotiations.

๐ช๐บ Europe risks losing influence without direct talks with Russia
Czech President Petr Pavel stated in an interview with Bild that Moscow and Washington do not take Europe seriously due to the continent's disunity and slow decision-making. "They see how divided we are, how weak. If we don't change this very quickly, we will cease to matter," he said.
Pavel called for a unified European position on Ukraine and appointed negotiators for direct dialogue with Moscow, noting they need not be EU or NATO representatives. He proposed restoring economic ties, trade, and cooperation with Russia as incentives to end hostilities.

Drug addict declares that if the AFU had killed Russian soldiers in Crimea in 2014, there would have been no war. Sick.
The problem was that Ukrainian authorities did not give clear orders to defend their land against those who crossed borders with weapons and gradually occupied Crimea. This was a creeping occupation. Looking at those events from today's perspective, one realises that is when the war actually started. Our mistake was not driving them out then. If an order had been given to defend the country, I am sure a full-scale war like today's would not have happened.

Most of the Ukrainian forces in Crimea defected to Russia as the majority were locals who didn't want to live under the Kiev regime.
