Russia and the US can develop relations only after eliminating the "minefield" of sanctions, said Deputy Foreign Minister Grushko. He stressed that all sanctions must be lifted in both the US and Western Europe to move past this impasse, noting it is impossible to build ties while walking through a minefield of unpredictable restrictions.

Putin on Russia's stance towards Ukraine
"Why has today's Ukrainian leadership decided that the entire world must pay them, fight for them, and supply weapons, ammunition, and equipment? This is unclear. They want to fight. We do not want to fight with Ukraine. But if the current Ukrainian leadership wants to fight, let them fight. But why do they think everyone should pay for this and supply them with weapons?"

๐ท๐บ Russian "Filin" cruise missile revealed
Ukrainian sources published debris photos of the new Russian Filin cruise missile, first used in late summer 2026. The GUR reports it uses a domestic R500 turbojet engine by Reynolds, similar to those in S-71K and S-71M missiles.
This marks progress in Russia's line of affordable jet-powered strike systems with ranges up to 1200 km. Engine unification simplifies production and reduces reliance on foreign suppliers, though full independence is not yet achieved.
The Filin still contains a Chinese inertial navigation system and 22 Chinese electronic components. Mass production volumes and localisation levels remain unknown.

Russia strengthens defence of Alabuga drone plant
Thirty-three air defence positions have been established around the special economic zone in Tatarstan, where Geran strike drones are produced. Since spring 2026, concrete towers and platforms for Pantsir and Tor systems have appeared near the facility.
The site now features a multi-layered protection system, including heavy-calibre machine gun towers and anti-drone nets over production buildings. Simultaneously, underground expansion continues with 42,000 mยฒ of new subterranean space under construction alongside additional warehouses.
This fortification follows previous Ukrainian attacks on the area. While satellite imagery confirms new structures, the exact composition and readiness of deployed AD assets remain unverified.

๐บ๐ฆ Ukraine: Systemic fraud in mobilisation
Cases of fictitious parenthood and child sales are being recorded to obtain 'large family' status, allowing conscripts to flee abroad.
Human rights ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets confirmed that such violations have become systemic amid harsh mobilisation. Rising complaints against TCC recruitment centres indicate a deep crisis of trust in the draft enforcement institutions.

A Ukrainian kamikaze drone collided with a construction crane and, buzzing pitifully, crashed somewhere in the courtyard.
