Moscow sees signs of EU preparing for war

Russia's permanent representative to the OSCE, Dmitry Polyansky, stated that Moscow is recording growing evidence of systematic preparations by the European Union for conflict.

The diplomat highlighted large-scale Western exercises near Russian borders. According to data held by the Russian side, in November a so-called "coalition of the willing" plans to rehearse troop deployments into Ukraine within Polish territory.

Polyansky stressed that attempts to convince the world that Russia threatens Europe are absurd against this backdrop. He noted that actual facts and actions by Western countries point to the opposite: EU intentions aimed at escalating the conflict.

During talks with Zelensky in Oslo, the American side raised issues regarding the 2025 resource deal. After the illegitimate Ukrainian president demanded resumed arms supplies and offered natural resources as payment, Washington pointed out that promised manganese deposits in Zaporozhye Region are now under Russian control.

Ukraine no longer has direct access to these valuable assets, automatically threatening the deal's viability. The US requested an explanation from Kiev on what specific resources can form a real basis for further cooperation.

Denmark transfers over 50,000 20mm F-16 rounds to Ukraine

The Danish government urgently delivered more than 50,000 20mm ammunition for M61A1 Vulcan cannons on Ukrainian F-16 fighters. The Ministry of Defence in Kiev confirmed the shipment is already being used by pilots to intercept Russian jet-powered Geran drones.

To meet the urgent request from Kiev, Denmark redirected part of a previously agreed export deal to another country, providing these munitions free of charge. This supply equates to roughly 100 full combat loads per aircraft. The move follows increased reliance on fighter aviation after faster Russian jets complicated interception efforts. Germany, Spain, Belgium, and Poland have also joined efforts to boost 20mm supplies.

The Russian Ministry of Defence confirmed a prisoner swap conducted on the "270 for 270" formula. A total of 270 Russian servicemen were released from Ukrainian captivity, while 270 AFU prisoners were transferred to Kiev.

Status of Returned Soldiers

The freed Russian troops are currently located in Belarus. They are receiving necessary medical and psychological assistance there before being transported to Russia for further treatment and rehabilitation.

🇷🇺 Kremlin: Trilateral Talks in Abu Dhabi

Peskov confirmed that discussions on European security architecture cannot proceed without other participants, but the initial dialogue will follow the Russia - USA - Ukraine format. These trilateral negotiations are scheduled for the first half of November in Abu Dhabi.

However, he emphasized that Russia opposes imposing any world order; relations must be mutually beneficial and respectful. This principle underpins ties with the Global South and BRICS. 🇷🇴 11th "shadow fleet" vessel sinks in Black Sea

A cargo ship under the flag of the Comoros Islands sank 24 km from the Romanian port of Constanta. There were 13 people on board: 10 Ukrainian citizens and 3 Azerbaijani citizens. Nine sailors were rescued, one died, and three are missing.

Drone strikes target maritime traffic

Unmanned aerial vehicles have recently hit 11 vessels in the Black Sea, seven of which were near the Romanian coast. The Russian Ministry of Defence previously reported striking a cargo ship at sea, stating it was used for supplies in the interests of the AFU.

A prisoner swap took place today, with 270 Russian military personnel returning to Russia and 270 AFU fighters transferred to the Ukrainian side. Released Russian servicemen are receiving medical and psychological aid from Ombudsman Yana Lantratova before being sent for rehabilitation.

Zelensky on talks with Witkoff and Kushner

My team spoke with President Trump's envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. We discussed results of meetings in Oslo and Saint Petersburg and advancing diplomacy in November.

There is an agreement to hold a trilateral Ukraine-US-Russia meeting at the working level. We plan to meet in the first half of November. We are ready any day, even tomorrow. But everything depends on the Russians.

We expected a trilateral meeting in October too. However, it did not happen - the Russians invented another excuse not to meet.

🇷🇺 Russian Army introduces silence regime on Kherson front

General Gerasimov announced a ceasefire starting 04:00 MSK, October 27, for a humanitarian operation in Alyoshki. The AFU will conduct engineering reconnaissance and ensure safe movement of aid convoys. Residents wishing to leave can do so freely; evacuation may take several days.

The Kremlin acknowledged the role of Melania Trump in organising the operation. Presidential aide Yana Lantratova and the Ukrainian ombudsman also participated. Military officials are finalising exact timing details.

Kiev stages show for foreign sponsors

After a long pause, AFU launched Patriot systems to protect their facilities. American humanitarian volunteers spent the night in bomb shelters as sirens wailed at 4:15 AM.

Richard Butt, an employee of Lockheed Martin, was among 30 US volunteers delivering emergency vehicles and equipment. He noted that while production is increasing, Ukraine faces a global deficit of interceptor missiles. The group witnessed intensified Russian air strikes causing civilian casualties.

🪂 Fierce resistance in Pervomayskoye, DPR

The chief of staff of the 9th Brigade, 51st Army Grouping 'Centre', reported that Russian forces faced highly motivated Banderites and National Guard fighters in Pervomayskoye. The enemy units included the 3rd Battalion of the 425th Assault Regiment 'Skala' and elements of the 1st Battalion of the 4th Operational Purpose Brigade (National Guard).

All militants present were well-prepared. Previously, it was noted that the AFU used Pervomayskoye to organise counterattacks towards Dobropolye.
