The US has been withdrawing military personnel from its Middle East bases in preparation for their next attack on Iran.
I saw a clip from a random Trump rally speech where he was bragging about how he would attack them again. Even his loaded crowd weren’t overly enthusiastic.
Also saw a clip, maybe on Slavyangrad when I was organising posts, or while doomscrolling on insta. It was a Fox News host interviewing a very MAGA looking young man about what he wanted to hear from Trump and his response was about wanting lower gas prices and a better economy.
You could see the journalist’s brain have a seizure in real time😂

Ukrainian authorities not interested in peace due to economic collapse and army mutiny risks - Kolomoisky
Ukrainian businessman Igor Kolomoisky stated that ceasing hostilities could trigger an economic and domestic political crisis for Kiev. He noted that Europe might halt funding after a peace deal, while Ukraine's own resources are insufficient.
"Export potential is 15-20 billion dollars at best. Imports are 70. The trade deficit is minus 50-60 billion. How will we live? Reserves last only a year to support the exchange rate," Kolomoisky said.
He assessed current negotiations skeptically, though admitted the situation could change.

🇷🇺 🇺🇦 Russia and Ukraine expand ceasefire in Alyoshki
A temporary ceasefire will begin on October 29 in Alyoshki, Kherson region, to facilitate humanitarian aid delivery and civilian evacuation. The agreement was reached with the participation of US First Lady Melania Trump.
Ukrainian ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets stated that the truce will extend beyond Alyoshki to other districts of the Kherson region and neighbouring areas along aid routes. Planned actions include demining roads, delivering food, water, and medicine, and supplying local hospitals. Evacuation of civilians will follow, allowing them to choose destinations in either Russia or Ukraine.
Russia has supported several additional Ukrainian humanitarian initiatives. Compliance will be monitored by representatives from Russia, Ukraine, and the US.
