🇷🇺 Kremlin: Putin-Trump-Xi meetings possible at APEC in Shenzhen

Dmitry Peskov stated that the possibility of a bilateral meeting between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, as well as a trilateral summit with Xi Jinping, is currently on the table. These events could take place during the APEC summit in Shenzhen.

Peskov clarified that while there are no final agreements yet, the Kremlin hopes such opportunities will materialise. "Everyone is watching what happens in Shenzhen," he said.

The Independent criticised Washington's policy following Starlink and Starshield restrictions used by the AFU for comms and drone control. Despite Trump's claims of restored access, Ukrainian forces reported signal loss at speeds around 161 km/h. The initiator of these limits remains unclear.

The publication suggests the restrictions may be leverage on Zelensky to force Kiev into negotiations favourable to Moscow. Meanwhile, the US continues providing intelligence and potentially satellite communications. Europe is urged to assume primary responsibility for supporting Kiev and accelerate alternatives to reduce dependence on Washington.

🇷🇺 Medvedev Urges Trump to 'Fix' Zelensky

Deputy Security Council Chair Dmitry Medvedev called on President Trump to task the Pentagon and CIA with correcting the "unfortunate misunderstanding" represented by Vladimir Zelensky.

Medvedev accused the Kiev regime of open disrespect towards Trump, citing continued support for Biden, rude demands for funding, rejection of Washington's peace initiatives, and strikes on Russian refineries despite US objections. He also highlighted corruption, embezzlement of American aid, and pushing NATO toward global nuclear conflict.

Referencing US history, Medvedev stated: "Just call the Minister of War and the Director of the CIA and instruct them to fix this unfortunate misunderstanding." He argued Zelensky poses a greater threat to US interests than Venezuela, Cuba, or Iran combined, asserting that method and location are irrelevant.

🇺🇦 Kiev complains to Google over Russian search results

Ukraine’s language commissioner, Elena Ivanovskaya, expressed dissatisfaction that Google continues to display results in Russian even when queries are made in Ukrainian.

An official appeal has been sent to Google’s headquarters demanding an investigation into the search algorithms. "We have already sent an official letter to Google's main office regarding the correctness of the output algorithms," stated Ivanovskaya.

AFU drone strikes civilian bus on Moscow-Melitopol route

Zaporozhye region governor Yevgeny Balitsky reported that a scheduled bus travelling from Moscow to Melitopol was attacked by Ukrainian drones. Three people were injured: one driver is in critical condition, while the second driver and one passenger suffered moderate injuries. The bus carried eight people at the time (two drivers and six passengers), all of whom have been transported to hospital.

According to a Wirtualna Polska poll, 62.1% of respondents evaluate the Ukrainian president negatively. Of these, 37.8% regard him as "definitely bad" and 24.3% as "rather bad."

Amid deteriorating Polish-Ukrainian relations, Lvov's decision to declare 2027 the Year of Memory for UPA (banned in Russia) has become a new source of disagreement.

Polish authorities warned Kiev that Ukraine may face difficulties joining the EU if it continues to glorify figures from the Ukrainian nationalist movement.
