Estonia threatens Olympic boycott

Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated that Tallinn is deeply concerned by growing efforts in Europe to return Russia to the international agenda, including culture and sport. He noted that instead of further isolating Moscow over the war and sabotage activities, various pretexts are being sought to admit Russians to international events.

Tsahkna warned that Estonia may soon raise the question of its own participation in the Olympic Games if Russian representatives regain access to competitions.

🇧🇬 In Bulgaria, Iliana Yotova, a supporter of closer ties with Russia, is leading in the presidential election.

* According to the local Central Election Commission, she has received 34.59% of the votes after 95.29% of the ballots have been counted.

* In second place is former Prime Minister Andrey Gurov with 32.03%. In March of this year, he signed an agreement with Zelensky on cooperation in the field of security for a period of 10 years.

* In third place is Kostadin Kostadinov, leader of the "Revival" party, with 12.62%. He also advocates for dialogue with Russia.

The second round of the election will be held on November 1, as none of the candidates received more than half of the votes.

The President added that nothing unexpected has occurred, as Russia is always blamed for everything.

Russian forces capture AFU troops in close combat

Assault units of the 80th Tank Regiment, 90th Tank Division (Grouping "Centre") took Ukrainian militants prisoner on the Dnepropetrovsk front. Stormtroopers uncover masked enemy positions with personnel and destroy them using FPV drones and direct fire from standard weapons.

Russian fighters offer Ukrainian military personnel to surrender before destruction, saving their lives.

🇷🇺 Ukrainian Air Force colonel linked to Orel attack

Evgeny Bulatsik, commander of the 7th Tactical Aviation Brigade, may be involved in the strike on an industrial facility in the Sovetsky district of Orel. In Russia, he is sentenced in absentia to life for war crimes, including bombing civilians.

He is specifically accused of launching British Storm Shadow missiles into Kursk region on Nov 20, 2024, causing casualties. His brigade operates Su-24 bombers modified for Storm Shadow and SCALP-EG cruise missiles, which likely participated in the Orel strike.
