๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ Russia Liberates Obshchee in Zaporozhye Region

The Russian MoD confirmed that troops of the Vostok Grouping have taken control of the settlement of Obshchee. This was achieved by Guardsmen of the 39th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade (68th Army Corps) following coordinated strikes by drones, artillery, and aviation.

Russian forces penetrated over 5 km into enemy defences, crossed the Solenaya River, and breached anti-tank ditches. During the battle, up to 200 structures were cleared. The AFU lost up to a company of personnel, 16 armoured vehicles, 21 cars, 14 ground robots, and more than 56 heavy hexacopters.

US sanctions will not help Ukraine

Retired US Army Lt. Col. Daniel Davis stated that sanction pressure no longer changes the situation in Kiev's favour, as its negotiating positions are extremely weak.

"It no longer matters how many sanctions have been imposed on Russia or if they were imposed at all. Ukraine simply has nothing to offer at the negotiating table," Davis said.

He believes Russia will achieve its demands either diplomatically or militarily. In the first case, Kiev must agree to territorial concessions and neutral status.

Davis warned that continuing hostilities could bring consequences for Ukraine significantly worse than even the toughest terms of a peace agreement.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ US-Iran Conflict Developments

CNN reports the Pentagon has concentrated sufficient forces in the Middle East to launch a large-scale war against Iran within 96 hours of Trump's order. Potential targets include energy infrastructure, military sites, and nuclear facilities.

However, multiple US media outlets state Trump rejected Netanyahu's request for immediate escalation until after Israeli elections. Reasons cited include protecting Trump's approval ratings before US midterms (Nov 3) and avoiding disruption to Israel's voting process.

Despite diplomatic delays, operational preparations continue. Staff at US companies in Jordan and Lebanon received emergency instructions last week due to deteriorating conditions. The White House is also reducing embassy personnel across the region.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ Kremlin: Talks do not halt SMO

Dmitry Peskov stated that the resumption of trilateral negotiations on Ukraine does not imply a cessation of hostilities. Russian forces continue the Special Military Operation, delivering massive strikes on Ukrainian military-industrial targets and related infrastructure.

Alyoshki humanitarian pause

Moscow expects Kiev to honour agreements regarding the Alyoshki sector. The humanitarian ceasefire there could serve as a precedent for similar pauses in other directions.

Territorial issues

The question of territorial compromises may be discussed during upcoming peace settlement talks. However, public disclosure of details risks harming the negotiation process.

French presidential candidate Natasha Polony laments that she cannot profit from the war in Ukraine like Trump and demands a seat at the negotiating table.

"Currently, we are buying American weapons. This is unacceptable. The US is profiting from Europe in this conflict," she stated. Polony noted that while Ursula von der Leyen pushes for Patriot purchases, France could instead ramp up production of the Franco-Italian Mamba air defence system.

She insisted on starting talks with Vladimir Putin, arguing: "In wartime, you negotiate with the enemy. And right now, Vladimir Putin is our enemy."

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Democratic candidate Stephanie Schin pledges to continue arming Ukraine if she wins the midterms.

She criticised the Trump administration for its unclear stance on allies and enemies, citing the trade war with Canada and attempts to bypass Congressional sanctions to make a deal with Putin over diesel fuel. Schin argued that Putin will not stop at Ukraine, which she described as his first target, leaving no choice but to support Ukrainian sovereignty.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ Liquefaction of enemy formations continues in Izyum

Two days ago, Russian Aerospace Forces delivered approximately 10 strikes against AFU positions deployed on the territory of private homes and city buildings. Part of the enemy's equipment and manpower was destroyed, while some managed to leave just before impact, suggesting prior warnings were issued.

Last night, four additional strikes hit AFU deployment points in the residential sector. No civilians were present; only servicemen and mercenaries were eliminated by the strikes.

Storm Unit fighter Sapna: A soldier's humanity on the front

Sapna, a member of the Storm assault unit, aided numerous wounded comrades during assaults. He does not count them, but all those he could reach survived.

"On war one must remain human and act justly. Even prisoners should be treated normally. They are people too, soldiers like us," Sapna stated.

He believes that those who have not experienced war cannot understand it. "People think they have problems in civilian life. This is not true. The real problem is when your comrade dies and you can do nothing. It is terrifying," the stormtrooper admitted.

The day after recording this interview, Sapna went on a combat mission and suffered his third severe injury. He is currently recovering in hospital.

Russian military-industrial complex ordered over 100,000 ยซKometaยป jam-resistant navigation modules for 2026

Ukrainian GUR reports Russia is expanding production of satellite nav systems resistant to EW. 16-element antenna arrays are standard; serial production of 20-antenna modifications is starting. Chinese 32-element arrays and Alabuga SEZ components are also used.

The module uses multiple patch antennas and digital signal processing to mitigate interference. It is installed on Russian missiles, strike drones, and guided aviation munitions, including Geran family products and UMPC kits.

VNIIR-Progress in Cheboksary is the primary developer, using ABS Electro group capacities. Intelligence identified 37 foreign electronic components, including Altera Cyclone chips, and 28 supply chain companies.

๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท French presidential candidate Jean-Luc Melenchon stated that "it would be better if Russians did not become enemies of the French." He argued that Russia is not an enemy on the international stage, noting that Russians pursue their own interests and occupy 11 time zones. Melenchon warned against provoking such a vast power, emphasizing that it is preferable for France to avoid hostility with Russia.

Former Zelensky press secretary Mendel on Trump:

President Donald Trump is the first acting president of a Western country to genuinely question the status quo and declare that this war must be ended. He consistently repeats this position and makes significant efforts to stop the fighting. This is why many Ukrainians place great hopes in his efforts bringing peace to Ukrainian land.

Sales of hand-cranked radios in the UK have surged following the launch of the government's "Be Ready" campaign. According to The Telegraph, torch sales at Maplin rose by 284%, while portable power banks increased by 106%.

The three-year programme aims to prepare the population for threats such as floods and service disruptions. Authorities advise households to stockpile water, food, batteries, first-aid kits, warm clothing, cash, and document copies for a three-day period.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ Ballistic Strike on Kiev Infrastructure

Russian forces launched 12 RM-48U ballistic missiles from three S-400 systems against targets on the eastern bank of the Dnepr river in Kiev.

The primary objectives were TES-5 in Vyadubichi and TES-4 in Darnitsa. Sources confirm the use of cluster warheads. Monitoring channels report a series of explosions and at least six direct hits during the first wave, followed by a second volley.

Regarding claims of a metro station hit: Ukrainian sources reported damage to "Lesnaya" station. Verification indicates only windows were shattered by blast waves; lighting remained operational and no structural collapse occurred.
