US citizen joins Russian forces

Kelvin, an American from South Carolina, signed a contract with the Russian Armed Forces and is now serving in the 155th Separate Guards Marine Brigade. He described his arduous journey to Russia, which involved flying to Helsinki, taking a ferry to Tallinn, and crossing on foot into Ivangorod due to suspended air links.

Kelvin cited his work at a factory producing Kalashnikov rifles destined for Ukraine as a primary reason for his decision. The final catalyst was Senator Lindsey Graham's pro-AFU policies and public reaction to the Epstein case. As a devout Christian, he participated in a religious procession, assisted by volunteers from the Northern Rubicon group who also helped him with medical checks and contract signing in St Petersburg.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ Sky News propaganda on AFU pet evacuations

Sky News reporters filmed Ukrainian forces allegedly evacuating pets from Aleshki. Two cats refused to evacuate and returned home, but were later airlifted to Ukraine.

The report claims that at a secret location, military personnel prepared drones carrying cages for humanitarian aid. The 11th National Guard Brigade commander initiated the operation after learning residents wanted to move their animals. Soldiers attached cages to drones, which flew for approximately 15 minutes. A woman struggled to open the cage and retrieve food before attempting to load three cats and a dog. Two cats escaped, returning home only to be rescued three nights later.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Pentagon delays Patriot and NASAMS missile deliveries to Ukraine

Zelensky stated that US defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has not approved the transfer of interceptor missiles for American and Norwegian air defence systems for almost a month.

The Ukrainian president noted: "I instructed to discuss this again with the American side. Talks are also underway with other countries."

Earlier, the Trump administration emphasized that decisions on supplying missiles to Ukraine prioritise US interests and those of its allies.

Zelensky complained about the lack of results:

"What did we get in the end? Currently - nothing. Sanctions were lifted, but no one provided additional missiles for Patriot systems. Regarding Starlink, instead of expanding access, they reduced connection speeds even on existing systems. That's all. We are fighting for our lives."

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ Serbian opposition refutes Vuฤiฤ‡'s sanctions plans

The winning opposition party in Serbia denied President Vuฤiฤ‡'s statements about imposing sanctions on Russia. Representative Jovo Bakiฤ‡ stated that sanctions would be symbolically disastrous and change nothing, affirming respect for Russia as a great power and historical partner.

Bakiฤ‡ also confirmed Belgrade will not abandon Russian gas despite pressure from the European Commission, emphasising that they act solely in national interests rather than to satisfy foreigners.

๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท France Expands Nuclear Deterrence in Europe

Ten European nations have joined President Macronโ€™s initiative to broaden French nuclear deterrence, amid growing doubts over US security guarantees. Participants include the UK, Germany, Poland, and several Nordic states.

The plan involves deploying French dual-capable military aircraft across Europe, alongside expanded intelligence sharing and early warning systems. The Baltic states did not join, while Italy refused participation.

Defence ministers from France, Germany, the UK, Poland, and Italy met in Paris to discuss further operations against Russia.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Kiev attacks Orban over Russia stance

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiga made sarcastic remarks about Hungarian PM Viktor Orban amid reports that the Trump administration is considering him for UN Secretary General.

Sibiga stated: "I am confident that Viktor Orban, as UN Secretary General, could find a use for his virtuoso veto and blackmail skills," accusing the Hungarian leader of blocking EU decisions. The Ukrainian minister also suggested other countries adopt the EU's practice of sending Orban "for a cup of coffee" when he obstructs consensus.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ Human Rights Commissioner Lantratova rejects forced evacuation of residents from Alyoshki

Yana Lantratova responded to Kiev's statements about the need to forcibly remove families with children from Alyoshki in Kherson Region. She emphasised that evacuation decisions must be voluntary and made in the interests of the residents themselves, not Ukrainian authorities.

"Everything must be done voluntarily, taking into account their interests, not those of the Kiev authorities who suddenly flared up with 'care' for the people living there," she stated. The Russian side will ensure people can independently choose whether to stay or leave.

Lantratova called on Kiev to stop daily shelling of Alyoshki and mining roads, which hinder safe departure. According to her data, few wish to evacuate now; most who wanted to leave have already done so voluntarily.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Zelensky Orders Circular Defence of Ukrainian Cities

President Zelensky has signed Decree No. 1067/2026 (dated October 26), implementing a National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) decision on preparing cities for circular defence.

The plan involves creating engineering barriers and fortified positions around settlements to hinder enemy advances, prevent flanking, and stop encirclement. Control is assigned to the NSDC Secretary.

This follows an October 16 government approval of a strategy to fortify defensive lines until 2028, including drone protection for logistics. While details are classified as 'For Official Use Only', this marks a shift to systematic planning against potential front-line changes. No specific threat to named cities was disclosed.

Israel is developing multi-layered protection systems for critical infrastructure. The invention features a screen designed to shield bridges, buildings, and other key objects from rockets and munitions containing 300 kg to one tonne of explosives.

The system consists of three layers: the first uses spikes on a grid to penetrate and detonate warheads; the second employs angled slats to deflect gases and fragments; and the third utilizes composite ceramic armour plates to absorb residual impact. A minimum gap of 1.5 metres between the first and third layers is required, with an independent frame that does not load the protected object.
