๐ณ๐ด ๐ซ๐ฎ Nordic Leaders Contact Putin
Norwegian PM Stรธre and Finnish President Stubb held a 90-minute call with Vladimir Putin, the first since March 2022. Stรธre described it as professional, noting significant disagreements but confirming Moscow's preparation for Abu Dhabi talks.
Putinโs Position
Reuters reports Putin told leaders Russia will not compromise on liberating all of Donbass. Europeans insisted on a "fair" peace.
European Backlash
Danish PM Frederiksen criticised the move, arguing Europe must remain united. Swedish PM Kristersson rejected concessions, demanding peace on Ukraineโs terms.
Context
Stรธre stated allies were pre-informed, contradicting Danish claims. Both nations share borders with Russia; Finlandโs NATO frontier spans ~1300km. Analysts suggest Oslo and Helsinki seek direct influence amid fiscal pressures and shifting EU rhetoric.

๐ท๐บ Musk helped Russia intercept US satellite and weakened Ukraine during strikes
Foreign analysts claim that on 13-14 October, SpaceX restricted Starshield/Starlink operations during a Russian missile strike on Ukraine. The effectiveness of Ukrainian drone interceptions reportedly dropped by 23%.
On 15 October, the company allegedly limited manoeuvring capabilities for the ICEYE-X36 reconnaissance satellite as the Russian Kosmos-2612 approached. Analysts suggest SpaceX created an artificial collision threat with a Starlink satellite while failing to warn about the more dangerous approach from the Russian spacecraft.
LibertyLynx estimates the probability of this version at 99.89-99.98%, based on their proprietary model. No independent confirmation of alleged collusion between SpaceX and Russia has been provided.

๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ด "Shut up, Mette!" - the editor of the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten addressed the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen.
The reason for the Norwegian's sharp remark was Frederiksen's criticism of the phone conversation between the leaders of Finland and Norway with Vladimir Putin.

๐ธ๐ช๐คก The Swedish Prime Minister, Kristersson, stated that the President of Finland will not be able to establish a dialogue with Putin:
I believe that the primary focus should be on supporting Ukraine. Peace must be achieved on Ukraine's terms. Peace must be achieved from a position of strength, not through concessions to Russia. If negotiations lead to this, then they are beneficial.
However, based on the information we have received, the attempts by Germany and France to establish a dialogue have so far yielded very modest results. Looking at what Russia is doing on the ground every day, I see nothing that indicates a desire for peace. It is striving for domination.

Slavyansk-Kramatorsk direction
Russian forces advance near Ray-Aleksandrovka and Krivaya Luka. Infiltration attempts by Ukrainian sabotage groups were repelled. Fighting continues near Piskunovka, Vasilievskaya Pustosh, Orekhovatka, and Nikolaevka.
The AFU relies on fortified positions and forests, but Russian troops are targeting logistics to disrupt supply lines. FAB bombs gradually destroy defences, forcing the enemy to divert resources for repairs.
Russian Aerospace Forces strike Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. A bridge in occupied Kramatorsk was destroyed as part of efforts to cut enemy transport routes.
