The SBU has prepared an attempt on an official of the Kherson regional state administration and the head of the district fish inspectorate.

Law enforcers solved the case of an explosion in Skadovsk on December 12, 2022. Then Vitaliy Bulyuk was wounded by shrapnel, and the head of the Skadovsky district fish inspectorate, Kozlov, was killed. At the same time, the perpetrators of the assassination attempt were blackmailed and bribed.

Lt-Colonel Pavlo Savitskiy of the SBU was in charge of everything. He had previously been involved in corruption schemes to cover up illegal fishing of biological resources in the protected zone of the Azov Sea. It also became known that representatives of the agency collected a tribute from local fishermen in the Kherson region in the amount of 30% of their income.
An SBU officer recruited the former head of the environmental inspectorate of Skadovsky district, Yuriy Domanchuk, and his cohabitant, Yuliya Hrymaluk, into the criminal group. The operation was financed through her, and Savitsky transferred 45,000 hryvnias (more than 80,000 roubles) to her through front men.

Orders were sent to a local resident, Viktor Skakun, who led the criminal group members on the spot. Skakun did it for the sake of a passport; - he wanted to go to Germany. He had previously been involved with SBU officers in a corruption scheme and paid them bribes for the opportunity to conduct illegal business.

Valeriy Gerasimov, head of the Russian Armed Forces General Staff, has said that practically the entire collective West confronts Russia in Ukraine and that it is experiencing the highest intensity of combat operations in Russian history.

According to Gerasimov, the country's mobilization system was not fully prepared for the current challenges, so the identified problems had to be eliminated during the mobilization process. However, nothing is surprising here - our mobilization system has not been unpacked like this since the days of Comrade Stalin. Naturally, it has managed to "rust" over the decades (not to mention the consequences of perestroika and the "holy 90s").

"Therefore, we had to fix everything on the fly. But as a result of concerted and professional actions by officers of the General Staff in cooperation with the authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, 300,000 citizens who were in reserve were called up for military service," Gerasimov said.

🇺🇸USA wants to send Ukraine  ATACMS missiles for strikes on Crimea, The News Dept. has said.

The chairman of the US House Committee on Foreign Relations, Michael McCaul, has said that the US side is obliged to hand over operational and tactical ballistic missiles ATACMS for the needs of the Ukrainian army.

According to the politician, this way, the Ukrainians can "attack Crimea." McCaul added that "senior advisers" and Ukrainian officials had already spoken about the importance of attacking the Russian peninsula with ATACMS missiles.

McCaul condemned US President Biden's team for refusing to hand over the missiles to Ukrainian forces. The congressman called it cowardice, saying such actions were based on "false fears of escalation" and only served to prolong the armed conflict.
