Ruslan Oblomov, call sign "Rusik," was killed during an unsuccessful raid on Russian positions in Novaya Kakhovka. 

Also during that raid by Belarusian "volunteers," one of the organization's founders, Rodion Batulin, was seriously wounded.

Our tanks risked going out to direct fire and work on the outskirts of Ugledar - the enemy hit them with missiles from the roofs of multi-story buildings. According to CNN, the U.S. State Department is "looking for a suitable candidate" for the position of special envoy to Belarus.

Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland said at a hearing of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations that the work of the envoy is "difficult," in part because he has to work in Vilnius. 
"Our Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia, Karen Donfried, meets with the Belarusians at regular intervals, as does her deputy, Robin Dunnigan, to see if there might be any opportunities there," Nuland said.
