Ugledar Will Fall
Sources in the 105th Regiment of the DPR People's Militia believe that an overnight assault on Ugledar today could put an end to the enemy grouping in the city by the morning. The supply of the AFU grouping in Ugledar has already been cut off. The routes are under fire control of the Russian Armed Forces. Next is the ultimatum to surrender and mopping up.
———————————————————
GB: The supply route through Perechistovka—Velikaya Novoselka—Pokrovskoye—Zaparozhye has been cut for quite some time, ever since the Russian Army re-liberated Pavlovka. The twin slicing attacks from Pavlovka and Nikolskoye this week terminated the remaining communications of the Ukrainian Ugledar grouping.
First, the route northeast through Konstantinovka to Maryinka, then onwards to Kurakhovo and Pokrovsk, has been tenuous for a long time due to the Russian Army's advance in Maryinka. Nonetheless, the offensive northwest from Nikolskoye put an end to this line for good.
Second, and last, the path through Bogoyavlenka to Kurakhovo and then to the the last line of Ukrainian defence in Donbass, at Pokrovsk, then onto Pavlograd and Dnepropetrovsk, has been terminated by the northeast offensive from Pavlovka.
In this, the 105th Regiment sources are correct. All supply routes to Ugledar have been cut off. The Ukrainians should surrender or attempt to withdraw through the fields, north to Kurakhovo. However, I've fallen into this trap before—the Ukrainians shoudl have withdrawn from Severodonetsk and Lisichansk, and yet they preferred to lose at least ten thousand men fighting for this line of defence. The losses along the Seversk—Soledar—Artyomovsk line are countless.
The Kiev regime does not want to save its soldiers or its people. It is in place to perform a task—that of fighting Russia. I do not know whether Ugledar will fall tonight. However, it is likely to fall by the end of this week.

After demands from Burkina Faso to remove French troops from the country, France withdrew its ambassador from Burkina Faso. In neighboring Niger, work has already begun to prepare for the deployment of a special forces battalion, which is currently stationed in Burkina Faso, but should be withdrawn in the short term. It is assumed that its place in this country (together with the bases) will be taken by the Wagner PMC.
France is also allocating additional funds to strengthen its positions in Niger, fearing that a military coup may occur here (as happened in Mali and Burkina Faso) and France will be asked to leave from here as well. Many French sources note that the recognition of the Wagner PMC as a "transnational criminal organization" is connected, among other things, with Macron's complaints to Biden, where the French actually signed that they could not do anything with the Russian strategy in northwestern Africa, where the PMC " Wagner" acts as one of the instruments of Russian policy.
It is noteworthy that even in the concept of the development of the French armed forces until 2030, a situation is already prescribed when the military presence of France in Africa will be reduced, which transparently alludes to the fact that Paris is aware of the simple fact that to restore the former neo-colonial empire, which was destroyed not without the help of Russia for the last few years, France will no longer succeed (although the remaining dependent countries like Niger or Senegal will hold on to the last).

🇪🇪Estonia considers providing 🇺🇦Ukraine cluster munitions, ERR reports
Estonia is considering including cluster munitions in new arms supplies to Ukraine. Many Western countries condemn the use of cluster munitions and have stopped using them, noting that they pose a threat to civilians. Estonia, however, considers them an effective tool against a superior enemy.
Manufactured by the German company Rheinmetall, the DM632 cluster munition unfolds with a bursting charge at 300-500 meters, ejecting 63 DM1385 submunitions, covering an area of approximately 100 square meters.
According to Lt. Col. Kaarel Mäesalu, Chief of the Estonian Defence Forces' Capability Development Department, this munition is most effective against lightly armored units. In other words, it can hit infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers.
Thousands of such munitions are stored in Estonian warehouses, and the Ukrainians have requested them from Estonia.

Israel rejects US request to provide missiles for Ukraine – Axios
Israel has turned down a request by the Biden administration to supply its outdated Hawk batteries and surface-to-air missiles to Ukraine, sources have told the Axios website.
The response was reportedly negative, with a senior official in the Israeli Defense Ministry telling the US that Israel’s policy of not providing arms to Ukraine remained unchanged, and that the Hawk systems were “obsolete.”
However, Israeli officials suggested to Axios that while the launchers were not functional, the interceptor missiles could have still been refurbished and put to use.
Israel has ten Hawk anti-aircraft batteries and hundreds of missiles in storage that it purchased from the US in the 1960s, when they were state-of-the-art technology, according to one of the officials.
The Hawk systems were put out of service a decade ago, being replaced by a US Patriot battery and locally-made Iron Dome and Arrow air defensive systems.
A US official told the outlet that similar requests were made to several other nations that possess Hawk systems, as Ukraine has been struggling to cope with massive Russian missile barrages targeting the country’s military facilities and energy infrastructure in recent months.
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin did mention the Hawk systems in his speech to the pro-Israel AIPAC lobby group earlier this month. He noted that the technology served Israel in the past and suggested it “can still help a besieged democracy defend itself,” referring to Ukraine.
Israel has provided Ukraine with substantial humanitarian aid, but has remained reluctant to supply any weapons, despite pressure from Washington and Kiev. According to Axios, Israel maintains such a stance because “Russia holds enormous influence in Syria, but allows Israel to operate freely against Iranian activity there.”

Russia's Sakhalin 2 may double LNG revenue as top buyers stay despite Ukraine crisis
Russia's Sakhalin 2 liquefied natural gas (LNG) project could generate twice the revenue this year that it did before the Ukraine conflict thanks to long-term deals with Asian buyers and higher prices, according to analysts and Reuters calculations.
Renewed deals with Asian buyers could secure demand for 6.5 million tonnes of LNG annually from Sakhalin 2, according to contractual volume data from the GIIGNL international group of LNG importers and Reuters calculations.
That could generate $3.8 billion to $4.5 billion in revenue for Sakhalin 2 shareholders this year, according to Masanori Odaka, a senior analyst on Rystad Energy's gas and LNG team.
The project could earn another $7.45 billion this year if it keeps production in line with 2022 and sells 4.9 million tonnes of LNG on the spot market

THREE HUNDRED THIRTY THREE!
During a special military operation in Ukraine, the Russian military is using a new command for artillery salvo fire, which sounds like "three-thirty-three." It is not spelled out in army regulations, it is prescribed to command: "Battery, fire." But in reality, in the army, in barrel and rocket artillery, it was the digital command "333" that took root.
Why did it happen? In short, the "Fire" command is, of course, clear and understandable, but someone can shoot at the beginning of the command, someone after it and it turns out to be a kind of inconsistency.
More convenient for well-coordinated work is the command "Battery! Three hundred and thirty-THREE!". The commands "three hundred" and thirty" are something like a countdown to the shot, which occurs exactly on the command "Three!".
Thus, the salvo occurs beautifully, smoothly and synchronously.

Maria Zakharova requested an explanation from the German Ambassador to Russia
❗️ The statement of German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock at a PACE meeting that European countries are “waging war against Russia” is interpreted by her ministry as “Providing support to Kyiv does not make Germany a party to the conflict in Ukraine.”
Russian diplomat Maria Zakharova in this regard asked the question:
📝 “Do they themselves understand what they are carrying? The German Foreign Minister says that her country, along with other countries, is at war with Russia. The same ministry does not consider its country to be a party to the conflict.
Given these conflicting statements, the German Ambassador to Russia should clarify them.”

Croatian President Zoran Milanovic: The German Foreign Minister said in English the day before yesterday in Strasbourg that we must be united because we are at war with Russia. I quote: "We are at war with Russia." I did not know that. Maybe Germany is at war with Russia again, then good luck to them, maybe it will turn out better than 70 years ago. Well, we are not at war with anyone. And I don't know how tanks will help Ukraine. Maybe they will help, or maybe they will burn down just like in Iraq. We will not consider this, and please take it seriously. I myself will insist on this for as long as I can.
