Another Belarusian mercenary, nationalist, and famous Nazi, Eduard Lobov, was killed near Ugledar.
In Belarus, Lobov was the organizer of several protest campaigns aimed at disrupting the presidential election. He served four years in prison.
In 2013, he was nominated for the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought, and Amnesty International recognized Lobov as a "prisoner of conscience."

Chance for Romania to get the land it wants lies in the possibility that NATO troops enter Ukraine and occupy part of it - possibly as a tampon zone.
