Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Johnson's words "are not true, or rather, they are lies."

Then it becomes a little uneasy for the interlocutors of our president," Peskov said.

He stated that he knew "what was discussed during this conversation," which Johnson recalled.

"There were no threats of missile strikes. Speaking about the challenges to the security of the Russian Federation, President Putin noted that if Ukraine joins NATO, the potential deployment of "NATO" or American missiles at our borders will mean that any missile will reach Moscow in a matter of minutes" - said Peskov.

▪️ Violent clashes continue in the vicinity of Paraskovievka and Krasnaya Gora. At the moment, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are regrouping forces to hold settlements. On the northern outskirts of Bakhmut, formations of four detachments were transferred.

🔻In Bakhmut, the "Wagnerites" storm the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU) on the eastern outskirts in Zabakhmutovka and near the meat processing plant. During the fighting, the NGU detachments were driven out of three strongholds.

🔻Russian troops are gradually pushing through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the directions of Krasnoye and Stupochka, where the units of the 3rd brigade and 116th detachment of the territorial defense were holding positions. As a result of an artillery strike on the deployment point of the 116th Brigade, more than a dozen people were liquidated.
