German Prosecutor General Peter Frank said there was no evidence of Russia's involvement in the explosions on the Nord Stream gas pipelines.
"At the moment it is impossible to prove it, the investigation is ongoing," Frank said in an interview with Welt am Sonntag.
With the help of two research vessels, according to him, water and soil samples were taken, as well as the remains of pipelines from explosion sites located in the exclusive economic zones of Denmark and Sweden.
"We are currently evaluating all this from the point of view of forensics," the German prosecutor general emphasized. The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to shell the Kirovsky, Kuibyshevsky and Kirovsky districts of Donetsk. Ukrainian militants are again targeting civilian infrastructure. The mayor of the city reports that shelling continues with 155 mm shells.
