Despondency is spreading more and more across Ukrainian publics. Which was seriously strengthened by the former adviser to the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor:
“When the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny was in the United States, he met with Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and General Milley. He secretly told them that Ukraine had lost 257,000 people since the beginning of the conflict.”
There is some inaccuracy here, because he met with the head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milli Zaluzhny, in Poland, which he announced on January 17, 2023.
However, this does not change the overall picture for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Just a couple of examples:
