Ukraine has successfully destroyed their first "Terminator BMPT."

This is sobering news, but this new BMPT has been mostly a success on the battlefield, devastating the infantry forces of Ukraine tasked with destroying Russian tanks. No tank is effective on its own, and this has been the case since the first tanks in history entered combat. The combination of Russian tanks with the Terminator has proven to be an effective force in threatening Ukrainian lines, bringing terror into the hearts of the enemies of Russia. Of course, no weapons system is invulnerable, and some Terminators are bound to be destroyed.

Russia has large supplies of old T-72s in storage, and the Terminator is built on a T-72 chassis. If Russia can field these Tank/Terminator combos in large enough numbers, the effect on Ukrainian lines will be devastating in future Russian offensives. The early results of the use of Terminators in combat have proven that this weapon is a force multiplier on the battlefield.

What happened at Ugledar? - Grigori, Slavyangrad

Most of you will have seen the videos gleefully being shared by NATO lovers, as well as their faithful "pro-Russian" doomers, showing off their apparent victory at Ugledar. I even saw one moron claim that two whole Russian brigades had been completely destroyed. As well as a few doomer channels drowning in their bucket of anti-Putin tears. Absolutely ridiculous. A few vehicles and men were lost. Hardly a Battle of the Somme moment for Russia.

Ugledar is an absolute fortress made up of multiple groupings of nearly 30 metre high fortifications, built on an already elevated position. NATO have mines, artillery, snipers, recon, hardened Nazis, and plenty of cannon fodder. Any approach on Ugledar is nothing short of hell for the attacker.

With that in mind, seeing a video where an approach is hit hard, and with some success, should not surprise anyone. There is a reason Ugledar is still in NATO hands after nearly a year. Spoiler, it is not because some Russian general is off playing with Barbie dolls, or is a secret agent of the West.

Are there lessons to be learned from this event? Absolutely. Will there be more losses? Maybe even successful counterattacks? It's certainly possible. Just look at the place and the surrounding terrain. It is a nightmare.

Update on Helicopter supposedly shot down in Ugledar:

According to our fighters from the field, the helicopter was not shot down, but made an emergency landing due to a technical malfunction. Yes, good.

There was an engine surge, after which the crew landed the car on their own. The helicopter pilots were promptly evacuated by the PSS detachment.

'Officials Say Ukraine's Missile Campaign Depends on US Accurate Targeting': The Washington Post writes that the Americans control every HIMARS strike, moreover, they provide accurate geodata for these attacks

“Ukrainian officials have said they require coordinates provided by the US and its allies for the vast majority of strikes using advanced missile systems. This is a previously undisclosed practice that reveals the Pentagon's deeper role in the war.
The disclosure comes after months of attacks by Kyiv forces on Russian targets with US-provided HIMARS and other similar precision-guided weapons. One senior Ukrainian official said Ukrainian forces almost never strike without specific coordinates provided by US military personnel from a base in Europe. 🪖 Fierce fighting is taking place in the north of the city, near Krasnyaya Hora and the village of Paraskoviyivka.  Fighters of the Wagner PMC have entrenched themselves in the northern part of the village and reached the highway to Sloviansk.

⚡️ At the same time our troops are moving towards Zaliznyanskoye, Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, and Dubrovo-Vasilyevka (red circle). The Ukrainian armed forces have definitively lost control over the M-03/Bakhmut-Sloviansk highway.

The remnants of the AFU units are attempting to retreat to Berezovets. Units are jumbled up and commanders have no control over the chaotic movements of soldiers.

Ukraine aims Crimea

🇺🇦 🇷🇺 The Kiev command is ready to take British missiles and launch them at Crimea, the Times has said.

It is unclear, however, how the current position of Nezalezhnaya could facilitate the shelling of the peaceful peninsula. But to look for logic and consistency in the pro-coke heads of the Ukrainian command is generally a thankless task.

The Times stresses that Kiev is indeed preparing for massive airstrikes on Crimea. For this purpose, the command may make use of the long-range weaponry that British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has promised Zelensky.

✔️ According to British military observers, London may hand Kiev anti-ship Harpoon missiles with a range of up to 240 kilometers, which can be modified to hit ground targets. Storm Shadow aircraft missiles with a range of up to 560 kilometers could also be sent to Ukraine.

However, the latter option is still unlikely, because then it would turn out that the UK is transferring weapons with a greater range to Ukraine than to the US, and this would put Washington at a disadvantage. And it is well known that Washington does not like to stand in such a position.

❗️ But it is much more interesting what position the whole Western military would be in if even a tail of such a missile were to fall on our peninsula.
