Geo-tag OR Hashtag?
YouTube currently seems to allow you to Geo-tag a video OR hashtag a video, but not do both.
Bizzarly it seems that although YouTube's instructions with hashags are to add them in your video title or description, it appears that inclusion on the hashtag landing page is dependant on the hastag showing in the video chin, the small space below the video just above the video title.
The chin is where any geo-tag you have applied to the video shows and applying a geo-tag prevents any applied hashtags from showing in the chin.
So, it's really a choice of either or and for me in this use-case I dropped the geo-tag so that the video does get indexed for the hashtag page.
I'll seek some clarity from YouTube about this, as it would be helpful to be able to geo-tag AND use hashtags.

To start a Live Room, swipe left and pick the Live camera option. Then, add a title and tap the Rooms icon to add your guests. You’ll see people who have requested to go live with you, and you can also search for a guest to add. When you start a Live Room, you’ll remain at the top of the screen when you add guests. As a broadcaster, you can add up to three guests at once or one by one.
Guests’ followers can also be notified.

YouTube is pushing Shorts on mobile
I see that the mobile view for channels is starting to heavily push "Shorts" which is still in beta.
To take advantage you just need to upload videos which are under on min long and in a vertical format.

Why people are choosing to quit social media
There are some interesting points here, but I really wish we could stop using the blanket term "social media" and treat the different aspects idividually.
What I do like about "social media" are the apportunities for communication.

On Instagram hashtags you add to YOUR posts, or in comments on your posts, will return in search.

'Age-Restricted' - YouTube
YouTube is now flagging content as part of the upload process and the algorythim may be a little keen. I had my latest video automatically 'age-restricted' though I cannot see how or why it may have triggered the algorythim.
The communication I recieved states that "our team has reviewed your content" though that cannot be the case; it has to be algorythimic I'd say.
If you're over 18 and logged into YouTube you can view the video here. I'd be interested to hear your best guess; what do you think could have triggered the flag?

Social Media Potential
Telegram channels strike me as the most flexible, feature rich social media opportunity currently available.
First up I'm interested in whether you agree or dissagree?
Having spent a fair amount of time thinking of fun and interesting ways a channels could be used, the only thing I remain confused about is how and why the normal social media crowd seem to have totally missed Telegram as an opportunity. 🤔
