The logical result of two cancellations of triathletes’ training due to bacteria and dirt in the Seine was the postponement of the competition.
“Following a meeting to discuss water quality in the Seine, the International Olympic Committee and technical delegates have decided to postpone the men's triathlon until 10:45 am on 31 July.
The women's triathlon is scheduled to take place on the same day at 8:00 am. World Triathlon states that its priority is the health of its athletes and that water quality levels do not ensure that events can be held."

Since January 2020 US debt has ballooned by 50% from $23 trillion to $35 trillion.
Interest on the debt is also skyrocketed with higher rates, averaging around 5% lately.
Interest on the debt is on pace for $1.5 trillion next year, about 30% of all govt revenue collected. By mid to late 2026 we will have $40 trillion in national debt for the US govt.
At 5% rates, that will be about $2 trillion per year in interest payments. The US govt collects about $5 trillion per year in revenue from all sources. So about 40% of govt rev will go to interest.
