Battle front update by Yury Podolyaka
โช๏ธUgledar sector: Konstantinovka (Map 1): The Russian army has occupied the first houses in the southeastern part of this village and advanced to its south towards the Konstantinovka-Ugledar highway. Yesterday, the Russians advanced towards Konstantinovka from the side of Pobeda along the highway. Thus, the Ukrainian strongholds northeast of Konstantinovka found themselves in an operational encirclement, and the Ukrainian army withdrew from them.
โช๏ธKharkov sector: Liptsy again (Map 2). We are not yet talking about the Russians storming this village, but importantly, today the Russian troops regained control of the key hilltop, which rises above Liptsy from the northeast. Thus, Ukraine is again retreating here, having redeployed its units to the south to eliminate the numerous "cracks" in the frontline.
โช๏ธToretsk sector: the vise is tightening (Map 3). The Russians advanced quite significantly in the southern part of Zheleznoe and reached the slag heap. Taking it under control will greatly complicate Ukrainian logistics to the south between Zheleznoe and New York and allow the Russians to enter the southern part of Toretsk. The Russians have also advanced in the village of Pivnichnoe, reaching the Severnaya coalmine, the key node of the Ukrainian defense.
โช๏ธPokrovsk sector: Timofeevka (Map 4). After the Ukrainian army introduced reserves into the battle near Zhelannoe, the Russians stroke a blow to the north. In the Ivanovka-Vozdvizhenky area, they forced Ukrainians to abandon positions northwest of Progress and entered Timofeevka. This may allow the Russians to advance further bypassing Ivanovka and Vozdvizhenky.
โช๏ธKrasnogorovka: behind the river (Map 5). After taking control of the town itself, the Russian are mopping up the northwestern suburbs of Krasnogorovka while trying to occupy convenient bridgeheads on the northern bank of the Lozovaya River.
โช๏ธSeversk sector: Pereezdnoe-Fedorovka (Map 6). Yesterday, the Russian troops occupied the southern part of Pereezdnoe and gained a foothold on the line of hills to the east of this village. The Russians thus continued their offensive on Seversk from the south. This success opens up the prospect of creating a significant bridgehead on the western bank of the Bakhmutka River near the village of Fedorovka. Such a bridgehead will create a threat of the Russians bypassing Seversk from the West. In the long run, this may enable them to take the city without serious fighting for it.

โผ๏ธ๐บ๐ธ๐ท๐บ๐จ๐ณ The US is not prepared for a long-term conflict with China or Russia, much less both at the same time
โช๏ธIn the event of a war with China, the Pentagon could run out of ammunition in โ3 to 4 weeks.โ Overall, the US lacks the weapons to "detain and repel an initial invasion" by powers such as China.
โช๏ธStocks of anti-ship missiles may run out in a few days. The shortage persists despite increased production of weapons for supplies to Ukraine.
โ โThe industrial potential of the US is insufficient to meet the needs of a modern conflict, let alone a war with major powers,"
โช๏ธThe weak positions of NATO allies are also pointed out. โDuring the fighting in the Donbass, Russia used more ammo in two days than the entire British Army had in stock.โ
โช๏ธThe report calls for strengthening the military industry and increasing munitions.
โ โAn urgent, bipartisan call to action is needed to ensure the US can make significant investments now, rather than waiting until the next Pearl Harbor or 9/11,โ

Ukraine Is Conscripting Thousands More Troops. But Are They Ready?
Large numbers of recruits will arrive at the front in the coming weeks, soldiers and military analysts said, but some are poorly trained or out of shape.
Ukraineโs campaign to replenish its war-weary troops is ramping up and should help fill personnel gaps on the front line in the coming weeks, according to Ukrainian officials, soldiers and military analysts.
Many conscripts are still completing the weeks Nazar Voytenkov, press officer for the 33rd Mechanized Brigade, said on Friday that his unit had โreceived more newbies this monthโ than they had at the beginning of the year.
โAnd today I was told that more are coming to us,โ he added.long training process and have yet to reach the front. And some recruits who have arrived are not physically fit for combat, members of Ukrainian units have noted.
Three military experts with knowledge of the figures said that Kiev had been drafting up to 30,000 people a month since May, when a new conscription law took effect. That is two to three times more than during the last winter months, they said, and about the same number that the Russian Army is recruiting [volunteers] each month.
A medic fighting near the eastern Ukrainian town of Toretsk, one of the hottest points on the front line, said that her brigade had received 2,000 conscripts and prisoners in the past two months. [Brigade is usually 3,000 to 5,000]
