▪️In the evening of October 18, Trump posted new messages, accusing Zelensky of being unwilling to end the war, emphasizing that Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries are causing serious damage to the global diesel market, as well as to American farmers and businesses. In a separate post, Trump explained that the decision not to impose new sanctions against Russia was due to ongoing negotiations to end the war.

▪️Kiev was again rocked by missile strikes. Ground infrastructure of the metro system on the left bank of the Dnieper was damaged. Near the "Chernihivska" station, the tracks were damaged, and the running and contact rails were severed, resulting in a power outage to the section. Kyiv authorities announced the temporary closure of the "Chernihivska" and "Lesnaya" stations.

Heavy fighting is taking place near Prikolotny in the Volchansk and Velikoburluk districts. Advances were reported in the areas of Ukrainian and Sosnovy Bor. The enemy is strengthening defensive positions and replenishing assault units. The "North" Group of Forces reported a rocket attack on a parking lot for military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces south of Kharkov. West of Novoselishino, the zone of control is expanding on the banks of the Upper Tersa. Counter-battles are taking place near Barvinovka and Voskresenka. Russian units are trying to develop an offensive west of the Svetlyaya Dolina - Samoylovka - Golubkovo line. In the area of Velikomykhailovka, the enemy is attempting to take action with small groups under the cover of adverse weather conditions.
