🇪🇺🇷🇺 The EU is considering the possibility of concluding a new contract with Gazprom on gas supplies to Europe - Bloomberg

It is reported that Europe has already begun to look for alternative ways to obtain Russian gas after transit through Ukraine is stopped.

First of all, this initiative is being lobbied by some countries that depend on cheap Russian gas, since industrial production is tied to these volumes, without which the standard of living in Europe will drop significantly.

🗣”Russia is ready to supply gas through the territory of Ukraine even after 2024, when the corresponding contract expires,” Alexander Novak, Russian Deputy Prime Minister.

The issue of extending Russian gas supplies to the EU depends primarily on Ukraine’s desire to continue transit, Novak explained.
