Both the former president and ex-speaker expressed concerns about how much harder they think it has become for the president to beat Donald Trump. Neither is quite sure what to do, CNN claimed.

X is in breach of EU’s social media rules – regulator

Elon Musk's social media company X breached EU online content rules, according to EU tech regulators, potentially leading to fines and operational changes. The European Commission's seven-month investigation under the Digital Services Act (DSA) highlighted issues with X's dark pattern deception loops, advertising transparency, and data access for researchers.

The EU also criticized X's blue checkmark verified accounts for misleading users about account authenticity.

💬 “We reaffirm our commitment to the […] project of strengthening the partnership between BRICS and Africa, in particular with regard to the implementation of the declaration that was adopted in Johannesburg in 2023,” said the President of the Upper House of the South African Parliament, Refilwe Mtsweni-Tsipane, at the plenary meeting of the X BRICS Parliamentary Forum.

She also expressed hope that South Africa's BRICS partner countries will allow the republic to effectively implement the project for creating the African Continental Free Trade Area. So far, 44 countries have signed this agreement.
