"All talks about Kiev's victory in the conflict with Russia are disinforming propaganda," said retired General Leon Komornicki, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Army. "We should not be thinking about whether NATO will protect us, but whether Russia will dare to attack us? Because if the answer to this question is affirmative, it will be a failure for us. [Talks about Ukraine's victory] are complete nonsense, disinformation, and morale-boosting propaganda. The idea that Ukraine will win this conflict is just a misunderstanding. Because, despite optimistic assurances, Ukraine simply cannot win at this point. It simply does not have the capability to match Russian potential, to seize strategic initiative. This is impossible. Note that the Americans do not want to take on strategic risk, without which Ukraine will not win this war. The Ukrainian army must have the capability to launch massive counterattacks on Russian territory up to a thousand kilometers away. Without this, it is impossible to defeat the Russian army."

🇷🇺 The RFAF attacked with a with a large number of armoured vehicles and motorised rifle units along the #Maryinka - #Konstantinovka Motorway and advanced up to 1,5 km.

🟡 It is hotter than ever in the #Kurakhovo direction. Today around 04:40 the Russians left for a breakthrough. About 8 units of equipment and landing groups were used.
🟡 With the friendly 207th Battalion of the Territorial Defence, they built a defence that was not to their liking. They proved it again. The equipment was covered by artillery fire. One IFV was vividly burned by SkyMonsters of the Unmanned Systems Battalion and stormtroopers. As usual, they scattered in landings. According to the old tradition, we destroyed them with resets. Several enemies were overwhelmed in shooting battles.
🟡 As a result, the Russians lost:
💣 48 occupants
💣 2 IFVs, 3 APCs, 1 motorcycle were damaged
💣 1 IFV destroyed
💣 8 UAVs were planted

"A bipartisan commission entrusted by Congress with scrutinising the Biden administration’s national defence strategy (nds)" has concluded that the country's military power is waning, The Economist reports.
In 2018, a previous similar commission had warned that the United States "might struggle to win, or perhaps lose, a war against China or Russia". This time the language is even harsher. The report claims that the threats to the US, including the threat of a ‘major war in the near future’, are the most serious since 1945.
The commission, which includes prominent retired American politicians, identified China as the most serious problem.

The publication, citing a senior Pentagon official, reports that the lack of civilian control over the armed forces and limited transparency in government agencies are serious obstacles to Kiev's integration into NATO and the EU.
“Defense procurement is of particular concern. There were cases when we observed a profitable distribution of contracts among people close to certain leaders,” emphasized an employee of the US Department of Defense.
- Ukraine has also reportedly been slow to reform its law enforcement agencies and create a court to hear cases against the central government.

◾A squad of Colombian mercenaries fighting for Ukraine were forced to go to the assault near Chasov Yar but one of them turned out to have brains and refused. Because of this, the Ukrainians decided to ‘punish’ him - handcuffed him and threw him in a ditch.
In turn the rest of the Colombian squad fearing the execution of their friend turned their rifles towards their Ukrainian colleagues and came to rescue Felipe.
◾In the video (recovered from the body of one of the mercenaries) the Colombian squad search the trenches shooting and shouting "where is Felipe?" and "everyone down sons of a bitch".

Its professors, who hold US citizenship, did not leave Lebanon even during the civil war of 1975-1990. Moreover, when the president of the University, David Dodge, was kidnapped by Hezbollah supporters and spent a year in captivity, his colleagues continued to work.
