EU โ€˜stands little chanceโ€™ of turning Central Asian nations against Russia โ€“ political analyst

It is very unlikely that the EU, acting as an โ€œagent of NATO,โ€ will succeed in turning Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan against Russia, Dr. Marco Marsili, a researcher at Cร  Foscari University of Venice, told Sputnik.

The EUโ€™s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell is visiting the two Central Asian nations from August 1 to 3 as part of an effort to drive a wedge between them and Russia, Marsili stressed.

In Kazakhstan, Borrell โ€œaims to weaken the ties between Astana and Moscow which are deeply rooted, spanning from the Baikonur Cosmodrome to the common membership in the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Eurasian Economic Union, and the Collective Security Treaty Organization,โ€ said Marsili.

โ€œIn my opinion, the relationship between the two countries is too strong to be severed, and it is very unlikely that the Kazakh leadership will shift from the alliance with Russia to an alliance with Western powers,โ€ he added.

Borrellโ€™s trip to Kyrgyzstan is โ€œan attempt to re-attract the country into the Western sphere of influenceโ€ after President Sadyr Japarov enacted a law tightening state control over foreign-funded non-governmental organizations (NGOs), said Marsili.

โ€œItโ€™s quite impossible that the executive of Bishkek will switch alliances,โ€ he argued, highlighting that Kyrgyzstan โ€œresulted in a significant failure for Western powers, as the country was heavily funded by the USAID program, the EU External Action and other European nations like Switzerland, in an attempt to install a Western-mirrored state in Central Asia.โ€

Brusselsโ€™ efforts to target countries that โ€œplay a pivotal role in the Russian neighboring policyโ€ are unlikely to gain traction, Marsili reiterated.

CRYPTO MARKET ADJUSTMENTS TO POLITICAL UNCERTAINTY IN WEST ASIA

โœ๏ธ Written by Hikaru Kitabayashi โœ๏ธ

This is not a financial analysis nor does it give financial advice. Reading this will make no one richer or poorer. It does, though, seek to draw attention to how major cryptocurrency holders are reacting to expectations of future real world political and economic events.

On a day to day or even an hour to hour basis cryptocurrency prices can vary dramatically. Over the long term, however, they also reveal patterns in real world economic and political conditions. It shows that this year the trend has been toward massive increases in funds available to the richest of the rich. In traditional economic theory, this would indicate spectacular rises in inflation. In fact, money has tended to stay in what can be called the "gambling sector" of the economy, which can be defined as stocks, bonds, and cryptocurrency. To the extent that new funds have not yet leaked into other markets, price increases on daily goods and services have produced a level of pain that is not yet deadly, merely extremely uncomfortable.

What happened this year was that the production of goods and services did not match the rise in new money being created. Because of the prevalence of political sanctions, currencies were not allowed to flow freely and this affected the functioning of stock markets and other financial markets. Cryptocurrencies, being an escape mechanism, saw a fairly strong rise in value against major currencies over the course of the year. They provided a means for holding measures of economic exchange that have a healthy level of immunity to the danger of holding too much of any particular national currency and provided a way to help prevent rigidities in the stock market from becoming unbearable.

Spring and Summer of this year, thus, have represented an important turning point. Before, the biggest cryptocurrency market players were the world's various intelligence agencies. Cryptocurrencies were much appreciated as a way to transfer money undetected. This year, though, BlackRock became a major player. Small players also seem to have emerged. A close inspection of the cryptocurrency markets would suggest that, although the Islamic Axis of Resistance must be minor market players, they sometimes seem to time their attacks on Israel and the United States in such a way as to profit off of the short term hour to hour changes in market evaluation their activities are bound to cause.

Generally, the world is now flush with increasing amounts of national currencies chasing pools of goods and services which are not growing nearly as fast and, in many cases, not at all. Those in the know are, thus, increasingly putting their funds into cryptocurrency. News articles reporting spectacular rises in value, however, are not true, if we mean real value. What we are seeing, in fact, is an effort by the richest of the rich, through the exchange of cash holdings for cryptocurrency holdings, to protect their cash reserves from more generalized inflation and economic collapse.

In this case, rapidly rising cryptocurrency price inflation is a sign of fear, not confidence. There is fear that West Asia will experience a political Armageddon which cause the economy of the Collective West to collapse. In such a world, it is clear that no national currency will be worth the cost of the paper it's printed on, and cryptocurrencies will become the main means of valuing important goods and services. This is nowhere being voiced in print, but cryptocurrency market trends over the course of this year indicate a growing sense of unease that is becoming greater rather than less, as overly rigid political positions make the world's economic future ever less predictable.

๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ Dmitry Peskovโ€™s latest statements on the prison exchange:

๐Ÿ”ปThe fate of all Russian citizens whom are imprisoned in the United States is a matter of concern for Russian agencies, and they will continue to work accordingly; Peskov was responding to a question about the fate of Alexander Vinnik.

๐Ÿ”ปNegotiations on the exchange of prisoners were conducted through the FSB and the CIA;

๐Ÿ”ปOn the organization and process of exchange: it is worth giving the highest assessment to Lukashenkoโ€™s actions;

๐Ÿ”ปPutinโ€™s personal meeting of the liberated citizens of the Russian Federation at the airport is a tribute to those people who serve their country and who, after difficult trials, were given the opportunity to return to their homeland;

๐Ÿ”ปThe children of the Dultsevs, illegal Russian intelligence officers who returned to Russia from Slovenia as part of the exchange, learned that they were Russian only when the plane took off from Ankara. They don't know Russian, so Putin greeted them in Spanish;

๐Ÿ”ปConvicted Russians who were exchanged could be deprived of parental rights in the West if they remained there;

๐Ÿ”ปThe exchange of prisoners between the Russian Federation and the United States and the settlement in Ukraine are different areas of work and are based on different principles.

The senile Biden - started flirting with the 12-year-old daughter of one of the exchanged prisoners:

"As you know, we, in the Biden family, have a tradition - to sing "Happy Birthday" to the birthday girl. Is everyone ready? Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday, dear Miriam, happy birthday to you! And remember - no serious relationships with guys under 30! God loves you! This is Alsu's daughter."

Operation "Safe Podlasie" or a license to kill

Today the Minister of National Defense of Poland W. Kosiniak-Kamysz announced the start of Operation Safe Podlasie (aka Podlasze, a region in Poland). Thus, Warsaw continued its course towards the total militarization of the border area: increasing the military contingent to 17 thousand servicemen (and this is not the limit!), supplying modern weapons, including heavy equipment.

๐Ÿ˜ฑ On the eve of the operation, the Polish parliament sanctioned the expansion of the powers of military personnel to use firearms at the border. Obviously, this can lead to even more casualties and deaths at the border among refugees. Details in this video.
