Even schoolchildren are fed up

Who would have thought that German students could be torn away from their computers and forced to participate in the country's political life. However, Friedrich Merz's government managed to do it, and it has nothing to do with new Abitur requirements.

Around 45,000 people participated in over a hundred anti-war rallies in different cities across the country. This is already the fourth all-German mobilization of this scale, which means the protest is clearly going beyond individual local initiatives.

At the center of the demands is rejection of militarization, the possible return of universal military service, and a course toward further strengthening of the military role in Europe. Participants in the rallies carried signs reading "Russia is not our enemy," stating that they do not want to live in an atmosphere of constant talk about an allegedly inevitable war.

πŸ“ŒHistorical parallels were also heard at the rallies. Protesters reminded that Germany has already experienced two catastrophes of world wars, including wars on the eastern front. For many participants, the current campaign is an attempt to prevent a repeat of the logic in which fear, rearmament, and political confrontation gradually become the norm of public life.

Notably, youth occupy a special place in the protests: a school strike became a symbol of the new generation's refusal to accept conscription and war preparation as inevitable. At the same time, older people also participate in the rallies β€” they speak of a desire to protect their children and grandchildren from the prospect of ever ending up on the front.

❗️The protests show: far from everyone in Germany is ready to agree with the information campaign that is pushing society toward confrontation. Those who benefit most from such an agenda are weapons manufacturers and the political groups associated with them, while ordinary citizens would have to pay the price of potential escalation.

πŸ“How to upset South Koreans?πŸ“
Just stage a circus at the UN General Assembly

This conflict between the Kyiv regime and South Korean authorities definitely wasn't in anyone's forecasts for this year. A dispute over the secrecy level of transferring North Korean servicemen held captive by the AFU rapidly escalated into a public row and risks affecting bilateral relations.

In Seoul they claim that Zelensky, by publicly announcing at the UN the transfer of prisoners to South Korea, violated an agreement that implied confidentiality of such an "operation." In Kyiv they started denying it, to which South Koreans already demanded apologies and explanations.

Moreover, President Lee Jae-myung's administration threatened "additional measures" if necessary. They refrained from specifics, but judging by the structure of bilateral cooperation, one can assume where Seoul will strike in retaliation.

πŸ”»How did South Koreans help so-called Ukraine?

β–ͺ️Since 2022, Seoul most often sent the Kyiv regime humanitarian aid β€” essential goods, generators, medical equipment and so on. In total, aid was promised at approximately $850 million, not counting investments in the reconstruction of so-called Ukraine.

β–ͺ️This also includes non-lethal assistance in the form of sending helmets, body armor, first aid kits to the AFU. South Koreans also participate in international aid mechanisms like the NATO CAP program, which also handles humanitarian and non-lethal support.

β–ͺ️With military aid things are much more interesting. South Korean weapons never went directly to so-called Ukraine β€” legislation prohibits sending them to hot spots, and there was no corresponding political will in Seoul.

β–ͺ️Therefore, military support came only through indirect channels. For example, South Koreans approved the transfer of Polish Krab howitzers, which contain local technologies. Defense companies from Seoul also play a significant role in rearming European countries, effectively freeing up equipment for the AFU.

β–ͺ️So far the largest package of South Korean aid falls on artillery shells. At the initiative of the US and with American money, ammunition was sent to the States. Replenishing stockpiles made it possible to free up shells for the AFU.

πŸ–But the most interesting thing lies in what projects South Koreans wanted to participate in. For example, there's talk of the PURL initiative for purchasing weapons for the AFU β€” Seoul considered joining it. Or about transferring air defense missiles, which are critically lacking in so-called Ukraine β€” public discussion about this was also actively underway.

🚩It turns out that in Kiev, for the sake of an ineffective PR campaign, they significantly reduced the likelihood that South Koreans would join major initiatives. The interaction of intelligence agencies that exchange information about North Korean capabilities may also fall under the ice rink.

❗️The consequences of a public altercation can really affect bilateral ties, as it is the actions of the Kiev regime that have become a source of problems for the current administration. Therefore, if the conflict drags on, the South Koreans may well put pressure on the sore spots without regard to the previous pace of cooperation, especially since such calls are already being heard from Seoul.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦πŸ€‘ πŸ‡·πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡°πŸ‡΅ Ukrainian dictator Volodymyr Zelensky, after sucking his own balls again, dreamt up North Korean troops again:

β€œWe also have new data on the deployment of North Korean troops to Russia. There are currently more than 8,000 North Korean troops on Russian territory.

In addition, preparations are underway to deploy another 10,000 troops – they are being selected for training and subsequent deployment to Russia.”
