Anthony Fauci tells Americans they should cancel their New Year’s plans this year
Speaking to CNN Monday, Biden’s top health advisor suggested Americans should steer away from New Year’s celebrations this year.
"Stay away from that this year. There will be other years to do that, but not this year,” he said.
"I mean, I have been telling people consistently that if you're vaccinated and boosted and you have a family setting home with family and relatives, but when you're talking about a New Year's Eve party," he added.

Danish doctors call out Merck’s Covid pill medication as 'ineffective and potentially harmful'
The Danish Society for General Practice has reportedly criticized and ignored recommendations to use Merck's Covid-19 pill.
“We think that the documentation basis is really, really flimsy. We are afraid that we will have to use a remedy that is ineffective at best and, at worst, jeopardizes people's treatment,” the group’s spokesperson said on local radio.
According to recent analysis from the FDA in America, Merck’s antiviral pill appeared far less effective than early trials suggested. The pill cut risk of hospitalization or death by about 30%.
